Staycation after lockdown
Family enjoyed our staycation. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Perhaps the hotel could upgrade its facilities i.e. smart TVs, improved wifi. The executive lounge need more choices in menu selection i.e. more like business class lounge in airports.
Great experience for the stay. However, a bit disappointed with the quality of the hot water, ruin the plan to let the children playing in the bath tub. It will be better to strict control number of pax in the swimming pool as set.
Short n memorable staycation in KL
Staff were highly attentive and the hospitality is impressive. Special mention to Sean Lee and his team for making our stay a memorable one. I would recommend the hotel and certainly would be back. The hotel was rather tired and has seen better times and due for renovation. The well trained staff and hospitality were commendable.
Overall experience was good except a surprising glitch at breakfast service
The overall experience was good, except a service glitch during our breakfast at the lemon garden cafe. We were wrongly accused of not queuing up the while the staff allowed other customer to cut queue. When we confronted the staff, we were rudely asked to go back to the queue starting point. Similar experience happened to another food station. The staff/chef, knowing there was a queue waiting for their turn, allowed another customer to cut the queue and when we requested him to clarify on the SOPs, he first gave a perfunctory reply and then claimed he was not aware of the latest rules. We also complained that there was a hair on the plate, the manager on duty surprisingly told us it is normal. Very unexpectedly shocked to experience this in the 5 star hotel we used to trust a lot.
Best remedy after being at home quite sometimes during lockdown. Thank You SLKL for the lovely birthday cake for my daughter. It means a lot to us! Excellent hospitality, cleanliness was very good, hygiene, breakfast satisfying, swimming pool is perfect and brilliant SOP management.
