Getting around
The majority of international and domestic flights operate into and out of Verona’s Villafranca Airport, which is situated seven miles southwest of the city of Verona.

Using public transport in Verona isn’t always necessary as everything is accessible by foot, due to the central part of the city being relatively compact. Venturing out to the lake or further into the province of Verona will require transportation, and hiring a car is a popular choice for easy access. Other methods of getting around include buses from Verona bus station which is located in front of the main train station, Porta Nuova.
