Great location, lovely hotel, would definitely return to this hotel. Loads of eating places to choose from. Places to suit all budgets. Be prepared to pay more if you in or around St Marks Square. Take comfortable shoes as the only way of getting around is by walking or the water taxi.
Birthday & Anniversary celebration
This is a gem of a hotel. It’s close to Rialto bridge and SAN Marco (use the map, took us two days before we realised just how close we are) there is a taxi stop and private jeti directly out front. The staff were more than friendly and super helpful at checkin and any other occasion we required information or assistance. Turn down service, tea & water in the room. Mini bar which is well stocked. The rooms are decorated beautifully in a traditional Venetian style. As the walls are material, the room can get warm but open a window and your good to go! The bathroom is lovely and spacious. Robes and slippers are comfy. We were upgraded to a junior suite. I received some deserts on my birthday which looked amazing and were super tasty! I felt very spoilt and well looked after. We had drinks in the bar. The bartender certainly can make a cocktail ( I’ve tried a few). Whilst they are slightly more expensive, I assure you they are worth it! There was no holding back on the liquor. Some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had! Highly recommend the Pina colada or Singapore sling. In addition to this there are some lovely snacks out that you can help yourself to. Breakfast was continental and plentiful, we went on one of the days but decided to skip this and opted to sleep in instead as the food out and about was plentiful and really delicious. ( I personally like a cooked breakfast ( which is not on offer) but tbh was so full if we ate breakfast we just had lunch & a late evening meal). All in all a really big thank you to the hotel staff and especially for the upgrade and tasty deserts! This was unexpected however you all made us feel welcome and I really did feel spoilt. Thank you. We would not hesitate to come back here again.
Beautiful Hotel in a great location
First of all - the hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very spacious, nicely decorated in a venetian style - which makes you feel as if you are part of the royal family. The location is also perfect. 40 m from boat num. 1 pier and the airport express boat, and 10 minute walking to San Marco plazza. Last, but not least, very kind stuff which makes you feel welcome. Only things that were missing was vegetables at breakfast. We asked the woman working in the lovely dining room and she pointed to a potato and zucchini plate. Anyhow - wouldn't consider any other Hotel for our next trip
Venice in January
Stayed 2 nights at Sina Palazzo . Can’t recommend enough , friendly staff always willing to help and assist. We were lucky enough to have our room upgraded, which was huge and even had a dressing area. Breakfast was lovely and the variety of options for a small hotel was excellent. Location was excellent 5 minute walk from the Vaperetto stop . We booked a water taxi from the airport but could have easily have caught the water bus . This said there was a long queue for tickets for this! Would recommend the hotel , a real gem .
We stayed 3 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. A lovely choice. This is a very romantic hotel. Very good location. On the grand canal with own jetty stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice with a good choice. The room a junior suite was fantastic. Had a large bathroom with whirlpool bath.
