Grazie!!! The Best!!!
Great stay at Forte Village! Room/suite of great comfort meeting all our requirements, quiet, privacy at the top! We particularly appreciated the warm welcome and guidance throughout our stay by Valentina, our guardian angel, who organized everything to perfection, from the reservation of deckchairs to the starred restaurants or even thought of the late check out! As regulars of Forte Village, we again particularly liked the general quality of service this year, which is exceptional for Europe. Special mention to Davide at the Castello pool! The food is always incredible! Breakfast at Le Cavaliere is an experience. We also had the chance to experience the cuisine of two great Michelin star chefs in attendance, Andrea Bertone and Heinz Beck! A huge congratulations 🙌! Exceptional cuisine in a magical and intimate setting without the formality of their respective restaurants! What a pleasure! Marek, who has been faithful to the tennis position, has not betrayed Forte Village's reputation as one of the ten best hotels in the world for the practice of this sport. The courts and support are exceptional! What a wonderful setting to play tennis! Again, a huge thank you to Valentina from the swimming team who helped our 5 year old daughter to get the hang of it... and to Francesca the babysitter! A very nice relationship! Long live Pistillo and the baby-dance. Last but not least, thanks to Valeria Garau for her patience and flexibility in organizing our stay and to Mara Mercuri who has always been present and available for all these years! Without a doubt, in these troubled times with the coronavirus, Forte Village is one of the most beautiful options for a vacation in the Mediterranean! It's hard to imagine anything better...in any case we loved it! Grazie!!!
Due to my job I’m a frequent traveller, none more so than to here at the Forte Village Resort (9 times). It really is a breathtakingly beautiful place. Royal Pineta is my favourite spot, not only because it seems to be more or less equidistant to everything on the resort, be it tennis courts, restaurants, reception, the gym etc but I feel it’s also the most secluded and private with less noise than any other place on the resort. You’re surrounded by thick vegetation that gives this spot its true charm and with its new water features on entry it blends the old with the new exquisitely well. The rooms are light, modern and vibrant yet have small touches that give you the sense of being in a quaint Italian village with its roof tilling, yellowish/ beige paint and wooden panels/ fencing. Without doubt though the best part of my frequent visits to Forte Village is the staff. They give you a sense that you are part of the family and are always incredibly polite and helpful, going out of their way to make your stay the best you can have. A large part of that is due to the leadership here and Mara (the boss) in particular. To be honest wherever you stay here at Forte Village you’ll have a very memorable and special time.
We have spent couple days there and we don’t have words to say thank you to all staff for the unforgettable Holliday. From the check-in to the checkout we have been treated like a super star. Thank you again and see you next year.
Spent 2 weeks with a group of 7 families (each one with kids) and same thoughts when we left the resort: NEVER EVER ! It started day 2 when we wanted to check our 6m baby from the mini club: what a surprise when we saw our baby sleeping, on the belly in the stroller with fixation.... and obv no one close enough to to look after. They apologized arguing not enough baby crib (the 3 of them were empty). 5 min later we asked the reduce the fan as very cold but « a celebrity has asked to no touching it » We were done with the mini club for the stay and cost us a nanny all days long. Although all restaurants closing at 9:30 all nights (except one Steakhouse), we booked a large table on friday for 12 ppl a 8:30. We arrived at 8:35 and was told we were late so they released the table and we had to shout out to find another table, which they did 30min later in a restaurant opposite to where we were. I will not comment the fact that we had to pay 100€/hour to book a ping-pong table (never saw this in all my life) + 500€ for a doctor to come for my friend who has a kid with fever + 30€ per kids for the « 10min pizza activity ».... For all of this, and more, think will never go back
Fantastic in every way!
We spent 2 weeks at the Pineta in Forte Village, the second consecutive year we have been there for our summer holiday. The place is beautiful, nestled among pine trees. The manager Mara and her team are warm, friendly and attentive. They really made sure we had a fantastic time and are themselves good reason to return next year. The overall resort is fantastic with or without children. There is literally something for everyone from the range of restaurant offerings to the endless activities for all ages and tastes.
