This family-friendly hotel, which was completely renovated in 2016, reflects the local island style and Sardinian way of life. Set between the beautiful Oasis pool and the tennis courts, Bouganville sits in beautifully landscaped gardens giving it a sense of calm. This is the perfect place if you are looking for an active holiday and there are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills at one of the sports academies such as the Chelsea Football Academy for 4 to 14 year olds and the Netball Academy by Legend, and much more. The designated restaurant for breakfast is the centrally located Terrazza Oasis. At dinner you will have a choice of restaurants that are included as part of your half board package. These include the Pineta buffet and Sardinian, which serves local specialities. The accommodation here reflects the hotel’s Sardinian style in both the ground floor Deluxe Bungalows and the spacious Deluxe Family Bungalows. The latter have a separate living area with a double sofa bed, ideal for children under 13 years old. Other accommodation options are available on request.
If being just a short distance from the beach, as well as a secluded setting is important to you then the Hotel Castello, which was renovated in 2016, is the perfect choice. There is a real feeling of exclusivity here with a private pool just for the sole of the guests in the resort’s Five Star properties. And your view from your poolside sun lounger is sea, sea and more sea. The style here is typically Sardinian with warm tones and light-filled public spaces such as the lounge and Bandiere Bar. With the beach and water so close it would be a shame not to make the most of the watersports on offer at the Boat House; and you can even learn a new sport such as windsurfing or waterskiing. The designated restaurant for Castello guests is the garden restaurant Cavalieri, which is located within the hotel itself. Breakfast is served here each morning and by night there is extensive buffet as well as show cooking on the barbecue grill. Sardinian specialities and Italian dishes including pasta and the typical local charcuterie (preserved meats) also are on offer here. There are four other restaurants where you can enjoy dinner as part of your half board package while other restaurants can be booked and enjoyed for a supplement. Rooms each have a balcony which overlooks either the pine grove or the hotels gardens or feature a side sea view. Superior Rooms are available, as are recently refurbished Superior Garden Rooms. Superior Mare Rooms and the more spacious Executive Mare Rooms.
You can’t get closer to the action at Forte Village than the centrally-located and newly-renovated Le Palme, another firm favourite with families at this fantastic resort. You will be just steps from the restaurants, bars and entertainment on offer at the Piazza Luisa yet also close enough to the beach that you can make your way from the pool to the sea in just a minute or two. Each morning a buffet breakfast is served at Oasis Terrace restaurant. Each evening there are a number of restaurants available for dinner (opening days and times vary). There is also a children’s restaurant where the dishes have been specifically designed for kids. The bungalows here have a traditional Mediterranean style. The Deluxe Bungalows are located on the ground floor and are ideal for a couple or teenage guests while the Deluxe Family Bungalows have a separate living area with a double sofa bed, ideal for families with two children up to 13 years old. Deluxe Family Plus Bungalows are also available.
Pineta is the perfect choice for those looking to enjoy an active holiday yet have a quiet spot to retreat to. A complete renovation has really added to its modern and tranquil ambience. Pines and oleanders provide shade from the sun and, although you are just a short walk away from the resort’s main facilities you will feel like you are miles away – this is the best of both worlds. Each day breakfast comes with breathtaking beach and sea views at the open-air Pineta or Bellavista restaurants, depending on the time of year. At dinner you can opt for a buffet at Pineta, traditional grilled meats at Forte Grill, local cuisine at Sardinian and barbecued meats at Brazilian. You can also choose to dine at Hell's Kitchen or at one of the speciality restaurants for a supplement, including the Cookies Cream vegetarian restaurant or Gordon Ramsay's Restaurant. For couples we recommend one of the first-floor Superior Terrace Room which has a terrace balcony with garden view. The Deluxe Family Rooms are located on the ground floor and feature an extra sofa bed, accommodating two adults and one or two children.
There is no doubt that the 116-acre Forte Village is an extensive and popular resort. However if you have the Villa Del Parco hotel, which was fully renovated in 2017, to retreat to at the end of the day you may be forgiven for thinking that you have found a boutique-style oasis. This Leading Hotel of the World also shares its pine grove setting with the Acquaforte Spa. So if you are planning to make the most of the Ayurvedic Park, the wellness circuit pools and plentiful treatments on offer we highly recommend a stay here. A real highlight for Villa Del Parco guests is the opportunity to dine at the Belvedere restaurant with no supplement. This is one of the resort’s most renowned restaurants and the setting on a charming Mediterranean terrace certainly adds to the experience. The Luxury Rooms are located on the ground or first floor and feature two queensize beds. For more outside space we recommend upgrading to the Luxury Bungalow which has spacious terrace.
