Hotel Mediterraneo Sorrento

Spectacular clifftop setting

This contemporary hotel offers incredible panoramic views over the Bay of Naples from its exceptional restaurant and rooftop bar.

This white-washed hotel is perched dramatically on a cliff and has been transformed from a grand early 20th-century home into a modern hotel. Here, you can savour the tranquillity and beauty of its setting but still be close enough to venture into town – just hop on the hotel’s free shuttle. There are lots of wide open spaces to relax so it never feels crowded. Find a shady spot in the gardens or by the pool which is surrounded by palm and citrus trees. If you long to have a dip in the sea, take the lift down to the bathing platforms at the bottom of the cliff.

Why we love Hotel Mediterraneo Sorrento

  • Four generations have been serving guests at Hotel Mediterraneo so they know how to look after guests with plenty of personal recommendations.

  • After exploring Sorrento, relax amongst the lemon and orange trees in the tranquil setting of the hotel's gardens.

  • Explore the Sorrento coastline onboard the hotel's 14-metre yacht, Valeri. The skipper knows some of the most beautifu coves along the Amalfi coast.

  • Head to the spa for a Mediterraneo Ritual where you are wrapped in citrus oils known for their antioxidant properties.
