Splendid Paradise!

After many years, I returned to Belmond Splendido in Portofino to find the same flawless consistency and magnificent views and service this former 16th century monastery offers. A real Paradise as you would imagine it. I love the garden just outside La Terraza restaurant. Our only disappointment was the Portofino Village port below that has lost much of its charm and character thanks to cruise overcrowding and cheap tourism. The T-shirt tents are certainly out of place. Stay at the top and enjoy luxury and paradise.

Splendido Short Stay

We were lucky enough to catch a one night stay at the Splendido on their last day of operation for 2019. A beautiful property, excellent and friendly staff make you feel you are really special. Even though it rained all night and morning of our departure, they were there to make our stay memorable.

Splendid hotel as the name suggests

We made a last minute booking and we discover a absolute gem. A little on the high side in terms of price but the experience was nothing short of exquisite. Staff and service were excellent. The room was well appointed and with an excellent view.

Absolutely magnificent

Hotel splendido was PERFECT. If you are headed to Portofino, do yourself a favor and stay here one night. The service is phenomenal, the staff is knowledgeable, the rooms are beautiful, and the food is delicious. We loved our time here. Pro tip- book a boat trip with Luca from Luxury Charter Portofino. And if you’re at the hotel for two days, go on the hike from the hotel to Camogli!

Great location

Loved the secluded and private location. Restaurant was the best we had for three days we were here. Piano bar and player were amazing! Concierge was very helpful for reservations and tour suggestions.
