Splendido Bay Luxury Spa Resort

Lake Garda's sleek and stylish resort

A chic property set on Lake Garda’s southern shores.

Splendido Bay Luxury Spa Resort is set on Lake Garda’s busier southern shoreline, close to the hillside town of Padenghe Sul Garda – an under-the-radar town and the more renowned towns of Sirmione and Desenzano del Garda. The hotel was originally a palace, built in the 17th century and its renovation painstakingly preserved original architectural and decorative features. A large outdoor pool overlooks the spectacular lake beyond. Here you can relax in a muslin-draped daybed by the pool and soak up the views. These dreamy vistas are the backdrop for breakfast on the outdoor terrace – and some of the rooms and suites.

Why we love Splendido Bay Luxury Spa Resort

  • Just a short drive to Desenzaro del Garda where you can enjoy wonderful lake views from the castle.

  • Take a journey along the resort's Wellness Path where you can experience three hours of relaxation as you indulge in the impressive array of facilities at the spa.

  • Epicureans love the option to go wine tasting or learning more about olive oil production in the region.

  • For a mid-size hotel, the choice of dining options at Splendido is impressive. You can also explore some of the many restaurants on offer at Desenzano del Garda.

Offering lake views, Bbay offers Mediterranean-inspired delicacies, seafood dishes and light salads, all served with a beautiful lake view. If you are staying on a Sunday, then this is the place to head for a long and relaxing brunch.

Aquariva
Chic décor and light jazz music create the ambience for Aquariva. The resort's Michelin restaurant serves a range of seafood and pasta dishes with innovative twists such as sea bass roasted in bruschetta. To accompany the meals, the restaurant's wine cellar has an impressive selection of over 900 labels as well as some of the finest Champagne.

Il Rivale
The hotel’s Il Rivale is a traditional osteria housed in a recently renovated 17th-century palazzo, offering a tantalising glimpse of the lake.

With its maritime setting, Aquariva is the resort's gourmet Michelin restaurant where Chef Paolo Favalii and his team create seafood dishes with a modern twist.
