Good Hospitality & Ambience
We visited khajuraho and had a stay at The Lalit, Khajuraho where we were given a warm welcome experienced a very fine quality of hospitality, staff there was very cooperative, Food served at the restaurant or in room dine was the best, really delicious, we can also consider as a resort full of greenery, apart from all things very good, another facility of car parking and car wash was available. In short it a place where we get value for money.

Wonderful property and hospitable staff
The Lalit is a fantastic place to stay in Khajuraho. It’s in walking distance to the main temples, has a very, very large and expansive property, everything is well kept, clean and accommodating. The staff were extremely responsive and provided incredible service- customizing food and any other needs we had. The food was excellent and they were able to make many unique off-menu items for us. There are large gardens for walking; a beautiful pool area, a vegetable garden on premises for fresh and healthy food, and a gym and badminton court. Would definitely recommend and visit again - a great place to wind down and relax!
Fantastic Staycation during Covid !
We stayed at Lalit Khajuraho for 2 weeks as a staycation, to take some respite from staying home during Covid... And what a wonderful decision it was ! Khajuraho is a sweet little town with nice people, clean air & a slow paced vibe. Lalit Khajuraho has a simple yet beautiful property with lush green gardens for walks during the day, very hospitable staff, superb food and comfortable rooms (we stayed in the 2 bed room apartment in their Annex wing as we wanted to minimize exposure to other people and remain as safe as possible). The hotel was not at high occupancy so it often felt like we were the only ones - which was great..! They had a nice kitchen garden with the opportunity to eat fresh lettuce, bok choy, and vegetables. We also played badminton in their open air court which was fun. Their gardens were a joy to walk through everyday. After a couple of days of seeing the temples before the crowds arrived (which are great by the way) we pretty much stayed inside the property. The hotel recommended Anurag as the guide and he was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The chefs cooked up yummy food for us everyday with a flexible multi cuisine menu (including fresh pani puri, salads, Khow Suey etc). For lunch they served it to us in the main garden and we really got some royal hospitality over lunch everyday. We would like to call out Mukesh (F&B) for his FANTASTIC customer orientation and hospitality towards us and making our stay feel so enjoyable and homely. Also Parikshit for his overall support, Sujit for flexing the food menu for us, and all the chefs for making us very tasty food. Lastly the gardeners and house keepers (Mukesh) who usually go unnoticed but made our stay what it was. Only issue was their WiFi, which they are in the process of fixing. On the last day they organized an exclusive poolside dinner for us with beautiful candles and music.. very special Covid Staycation overall. The simplicity of the environment and loving hospitality made us feel like we were at home and did not want to leave. Thank you !
