Worth every Penning. Top class hotel and service
Leela Palace Bangalore, it was our first visit to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. Not only the hotel and amnesties was fantastic. But your staffs were all so well trained with so much of respect and care. I would like to personally call out Saikat Mitra and Imran. During the COVID epidemic, we had our flights cancelled. And it was a stressful moment for us as we couldnt get a flight back. They spent hours trying to get a flight back for us. And till we reached Brisbane, Saikat kept in touch with us. We dont know where you get your staffs from.. But Saikat and Imran deserve a standing applause. Besides being so thankful, we dont know how to show our gratitude. You have the best of the staffs. Leela Palace is worth every penny. Thank you once again.
Stupendous service amidst COVID 19 scare.
A big thank you to the wonderful team at the Leela Palace. Our stay of 3 nights and four days were simply marvellous. we had booked 8 rooms for a yoga retreat group from USA and With a sudden change in plans due to COVID 19, Hitender - the duty manager and fir me the face of the hotel, just took over the situation and assisted me and all our guests as we made changes to their flight bookings in the wee hours of our last night to get them home safely. He had the foresight to anticipate our needs and proactively worked in the background to ensure things were ready before we asked. This one quality that really stood out for me. All our guests had a long day and we worked till 3 am to fix their flights back home, and Hitender and his team did all they could and I could see him leading his team, making calls to get us a desk and chairs a land line and extension box to ensure we were comfortable. My business partner from USA was also very impressed with his service, calm demeanor, proactive ness, being present in the moment and forever smiling with a can do attitude. She also mentioned to me that her interaction with a lady doing night shift at guest services late at night deserves a special mention and is commendable as they shared an emotional moment together. Later after the group checked out, Hitender patiently went through with me, my billing queries and ensured I was satisfied till a point that I had no more questions 😊. In my hospitality career, I have seen many team members with whom I used to enjoy working, look forward to meeting them. interacting with them each morning as I woke up and got ready to go to work, each day..and at Leela Palace you have many of them and I am sure that is what it makes it such a wonderful hotel that it is. Stating from Siddharth, Director of Sales- a gentle and most cordial and accommodating hotelier, Namrata, Senior Sales Manager-very good with her follow ups, Umesh- Head if Catering sales-was very patient and heard us intently, Karthik served us with zeal and enthusiasm at Citrus, Venkat at concierge was Swift, strong and meticulous, and of course Hitender who owned this group and was the leader of the pack. My guests and I could see and feel it in eyes of the staff that they were saying " In this adverse times, we are there for you, tell us what you want".Now if a guest gets this feeling without team members saying a word, to me this is excellence. A big thank you from us to all of you for doing that all you could to make the stay of our guests comfortable. These are tough times for all of us, our fraternity, our families, society and world at large. Stay safe and stay blessed. With my best regards, GS.
A beautiful hotel
We have just returned from a lovely two night break in this stunning hotel. It is quite amazing with beautiful gardens and excellent hospitality. We had booked for a club room but we were upgraded to a suite which was stunning..... immaculately clean with lovely views. Special thanks to Ashma the club hostess who sourced my favourite wine .... so very kind. Also to Ankit, junior sous chef who amazed us with an Indian breakfast ... it was like a tasting menu.... quite outstanding. The service in this hotel is exemplary and a big thanks to Parnab our lovely kind waiter. If you get the chance to visit Bangalore, this hotel is an oasis of peace and charm
Top-class hotel In Bangalore...
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in February 2020. It's a top-class hotel with very nice rooms (or even suites), excellent service, extensive breakfast, nice restaurants (Indian and Asian) and a very nice swimming area.
Deserve their high TA ranking.
My wife and I stayed here as the first stop on our 3 week holiday in southern India. At 6.00am, it was about an hours drive from the international airport following our flight from London; not a long distance but the Bengaluru traffic is pretty bad! Upon arrival we were given an extremely warm welcome from all, starting with the dorman, the guys that had to do an airport style security check on our bags and then front of house. The interior of this hotel is magnificent; period fixtures and furniture everywhere and a general feeling of spaciousness wherever we went. Very happy with our room on the 6th floor overlooking the central courtyard. We had a choice of at least 3 restaurants for meals and all produced food to a very high standard. Not the hotels fault, but being city centre, if you’re not used to it, traffic noise can be a little intrusive, especially as the locals love using their car horns regularly! Overall, a great stay, and no hesitation in recommending.
