Extraordinary experience with the hotel.
Just completing 6-nights in Bengaluru for business and the Leela Palace was outstanding. The service was outstanding, the four restaurants on the premises are fantastic and the breakfast buffet is unmatched. The room is beautiful with a garden view, large( and comfortable) four-post bed. Spacious ‘suite’ bathroom with separate shower and tub. Service is very attentive... had a couple of issue with my in closet safe, had never waited more than 3-4 minutes before someone was at the door to help. The hotel is so nice, there is really no need to go off the premises. Highly recommended to any traveller heading to this location.
Nice Experience with great customer service & a scope to improve a little just a little bit more
We did a staycation (with a 1.5 yr old infant) during the unlock 1 phase in Bengaluru, one name which stands out for sure is Jayanth, he helped me to the fullest and was super nice during the entire process right from booking till check-out, Farzana (I hope I spelt her name correctly) took a great care of us during our smooth contact less check-in. Puneet was the other person who was really polite and helpful during my planning phase. We were in one of their junior presidential suite and it was huge (2500sqft), we preferred in room dining for all the meals and felt safe ordering under their Suraksha Program. Pros: 1) Staff courtesy - three names - Jayanth, Farzana & Puneet 2) Food quality and quantity 3) Safety protocols during the covid era 4) A surprise cake for my daughter during the stay. 5) Keeping things really contact-less, you might feel a little odd also as know human hospitality touch but during this time it's best that way. Cons: 1) They are also a quarantine centre so you might feel a little uncomfortable during the stay, although the quarantine guests are complete isolated from normal walk-around floors and places. 2) The room was huge but need a little makeover as deep cleaning of carpets is a must, the sofa, the furniture, the carper looks a little worn-out. 3) The room had few cookie/muffin/macrons jars etc which were empty, ideally in hospitality industry that's kind of rude, you either don't keep it or better put something in it and then keep it. I am not picky about this but its' kind of eye sore when you land in the room and see something like this. 4) When I was planning for this trip I was in double thought as had a kid and this was covid era, I did get a call from their GM to help me by giving the surety that everything will be fine, which indeed it was but it would have been really nice if he would have just called me up once during my stay as whatever talk we had was BEFORE I gave the SALE to them and no sort of connect post we booked the hotel or landed in the hotel or left from the hotel, some might be ok with this but I felt a little awkward. 5) Most of the hotel common places closed as only 1 restaurant working so you might feel a little bored also plus a little terrified by seeing everything closed. I was ok with this as room itself was huge so had a lot of space in the room itself plus I am more of mattress guy rather than hotel facility utilization guy. Overall Verdict - Great place with few areas to improve but hats off for their effort to tackle covid era during this tough time, their Suraksha program is awesome and they do make sure to get it followed everywhere across hotel.
Beautiful decor and a lovely place!
We stayed only one short night. Yet we were impressed by the architecture, service, food and the experience here. We had no time for recreation but the pool area in splendid gardens looked very impressive Again a very nice combination of old, grand tradition and modern, fresh interiors.
This is undoubtedly the one of the best hotels in the world i have stayed in.The public areas of the hotel, particularly the gardens, are luxurious and immaculate. The rooms are beautifully furnished with traditional furniture. The beds are as comfortable as any i have slept on. Despite the location my room was quite and peaceful. Everything about hotel is first rate.
My stay at the Leela Palace
Staying at the Leela was a memorable one. The building architecture, the comfortable room, with good service is really appreciable. Overall it seemed as I am the king staying at my palace. I wish I would get another chance to stay in the beautiful hotel again. I would suggest everyone to stay in Hotel Leela Palace than else where.
