Wonderful hotel wish we had stayed longer
Arriving at this hotel was an incredible surprise. I cannot day too much as I do not wish to soul that surprise. But the accommodation is fabulous. The setting perfect and so quiet. The staff charming and the food delicious! We needed two nights at least to unwind.
Carpe diem oasis
We were advised to head to this hidden gem and found the perfect occasion during our jodhpur-Jaipur long transfer. It is literally a no detour on the route. The place is magical: they cultivate bio vegetables and host paddle boat birdwatching on the breathtaking lake. In the detailful tents you can’t even tell you are glamping and the food (soups!) are not only delicious. Time flows slowly and we even enjoyed a relaxing massage on top of the hill. Staff paints twice per week the original designs on the ground ritually, words can’t describe the atmosphere, be reassured you won’t regret your stay...
Amazing beautiful place
Recently renovated by the RAAS owners from Jodhpur, this heaven of peace is a place to visit for 2 days and enjoy birdwatching and see a beautiful part of india. Very confortable tents with all the confort of a luxurious bedroom and bathroom. Attentive and competent staff. Delicious food. Certainly to recommend.
Exotic, luxurious tents, within a building, with a huge, high-end bath, & large deck, overlooking a big lake!
This is a very inviting, secluded, luxurious, quiet oasis overlooking a large lake. The rooms have all the bells and whistles. Some have a skylight that one can open for star-gazing. Everything seems new. The staff are wonderful - so friendly and eager to please. They have a large deck, with an evening log fire, next to the restaurant. It is a great place to enjoy nature. One negative is that smoking is allowed on the restaurant and room decks. The other is that there are a lot of stone steps getting to each unit. We are not sure how it can work for people with some mobility limitations, and for small children. The food is satisfying, and the drinks are good - especially with the beautiful scenery. They had some absolutely fascinating, delightful guests. Nature tours are included. We want to thank the staff for all their kindness, and for their effort to get us a spectacular room (#114) at our next stop at the fabulous RAAS Hotel in Jodhpur!
They have updated the tents here since it has been taken over by RAAS. They are beautiful inside with hand sewn birds on the ceiling and walls and wonderful large bathrooms complete with separate bath and large shower. My only comment would be to have an additional door to the toilet so two people could use the bathroom. They is also a large skylight above the bed which you can chose to leave open at night and watch the stars. Each tent has an outdoor seating area and is a perfect place to sit in the morning and watch the sunrise over the lake. They have their own vegetable garden besides the hotel and a very nice swimming pool which was heated (we were there in January so the pool wasn't being heated suffently by the sun yet). The village walk here is very worth while. After dinner in the evening we enjoyed sitting round the fire wrapped in blankets having a drink and talking to the other guests.
