Heritage it is!
Taj Hari Palace, beautiful heritage building reminds you of Rajwada feel of living. Awesome food especially the Rajasthani Thali. Yummm. The staff_ what to say the Taj hospitality is amazing as always. Special mentions Lokendra Chauhan our front desk staff who qas alwyas one step ahead in planning our trips around the city. Do visit outskirts like jhajhiwal Dora for a different experience amongst animals and nature preserved beautifully by Bishnoi Community. Overall a five star experience.

Geetanshi’s 21st Birthday celebration.
I am Geetanshi Lamba, and I celebrated my 21st Birthday at Marwar by Taj. Because of the ongoing pandemic, I was very apprehensive about going anywhere out, but their services were on point and clean. For any doubts that I had regarding the party, I was calling Mr. Dilip, and he was always available to pick up my call, and cleared my doubts with utmost patience. There were sanitizers kept everywhere, guys who were serving wore gloves and masks at all times. They didn’t put food on our plates directly just placed them on our table to avoid contact. Above everything, the food was absolutely delicious. And their chocolate cake was best as ever. I would really recommend that you all visit Taj. Be safe! Take care!
We decided to visit the hotel in the month of September. It was my wife's birthday and we enjoyed our stay beyond our expectations. Mr. Lokendra has arranged everything in beautiful manner, first we got our room upgraded to luxury pool view and we also received a surprise birthday cake. I would like to thank Taj for this amazing experience. At last, I had a great conversation with Mr. Lokendra about the history of kings and palaces in Jodhpur. Overall it was an amazing experience and looking forward to visit soon.
A great hotel in Jodhpur!
This review is for our stay in Feb 2020, sorry I'm a bit late in writing this. We loved Jodhpur, the city is beautiful, the fort is so impressive, and this hotel was incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. We received a package which included a 1/2 day city tour, a car/driver for half day, and breakfast for all of us. This was perfect for a two night stay in Jodhpur. The first impression of the hotel is that is is beautiful. It is a heritage property and it feels like you arrived at a palace. As you walk through the hotel, you can tell which parts of the hotel are the heritage property and which are added on later, and it is incredibly charming. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. We had a pool view room, which we enjoyed. The kids sat out on the balcony and people watched a bit. The rooms was comfortable, but a little crowded. We are a family of 4 so it was crowded in a king bed (with one child) and a the other child in a cot. My guess is all the rooms are similar sized, I did splurge on a better category room, but it was still a bit hard for 4 people. The bathroom was nice and large and comfortable. The only thing I did not love was the carpet in the room - I feel it made the room look a little bit dated and harder to clean, but overall the room was clean and comfortable. I have a son with many food allergies, and the main chef - Mahipal Singh Rathore - emailed me back and forth to understand the allergies, and personally met with me as I arrived at the hotel. He was kind and did understand my son's allergies, and his staff did their best to make sure my son had food that was safe for him to eat. Dinner was a buffet, with kids being free, but with the allergies, they made fresh food for my son to eat. Breakfast was also a buffet, and again, my son got fresh food that was safe for him. It was very nice to be so considerate of his needs. Thank you to the chef and the staff for doing their best for my son! And thank you to Priya in Food & Bev, who was there as our waitress every day and took care of my kids so well! The evening entertainment was a lot of fun - poolside puppet shows and magic shows and a music show as well. Definitely feels like Rajasthan with it's beautiful people and beautiful music! We received a tour guide to take us to the fort and he was wonderful! He explained everything so well, this was our favorite fort in all of Rajasthan because of his stories and his ability to keep the kids engaged! After lunch he took me to the clock tower and old market, and walked me through the blue city and to see the stepwell. I wanted bangles and jutis, and he took me to the back alley stores to get nice quality items that I am using all the time. The car/driver was also nice, he took me to a bandhani saree store to purchase a saree and also collected it for me the next day. All in all, the service I received was first class - I felt safe and cared for as I toured the city to shop without my family.
