Mesmerizing experience, which made my wife's birthday all the more special!!
I feel short of words in describing our overall experience at the Rambagh palace!! I was confused between Rambagh, Fairmont and Oberoi as a surprise for my wife on her birthday, and I am glad I went ahead with Rambagh Palace since it made her experience so much special. Starting with the grand welcome at the palace, we were offered a free upgrade on our room on account of the special occasion of my wife's birthday. The moment we stepped into the historical suite (Gulmohar Suite), we were in awe looking at the architecture and room layout. Everything felt pristine including the chandelier, room dome shaped ceiling, doors, windows etc. The restaurants were a delight, covering all sorts of cuisines with outdoors as well as indoor seating offering breathtaking views from every place. The most mesmerizing experience was the Swarna Mahal (the Indian Fine Dining), with its Versace cutlery, 150 years old chandeliers, carpets, curtains etc. The palace is spread across gigantic area and has beautiful garden and fountain parks. in which birds like Peacocks, Parrots, Mynahs etc. are a delight to watch. It has its own herb garden where vegetables are being grown for palace consumption, looking at those was truly an amazing experience. The best part about our stay was definitely the surprises which our butler Ritik had planned for us all along. He, along with his manager Nimish, ensured that all the surprises were executed flawlessly starting with the free room upgrade, the cake arriving at midnight followed by surprise over the breakfast, the lovely cake trolley in the evening at the Prince Suite followed by luxurious dinner at the Swarna Mahal. I cant thank them enough for ensuring that my wife really felt special on her birthday by giving her a royal treatment and an experience she would cherish in her lifetime. Special thanks to Karan and Rishabh as well who ensured we had a pleasant stay at the hotel.
Hospitality tops it up here, staff is real good and helpful as you need. Definitely it is a luxury location so please ensure have enough time in hand to enjoy the property to the core. Make sure you grab one meal for sure to enjoy the delicacies. Would recommend in case you want to enjoy the luxury.
If there is something money can't buy.
The staff from top to bottom was too good. Starting with the G.M. Mr. Ashok Rathore, Dir of Rooms Mr. Ajay Sharma, Asst. Dir F&B Mr. Naveen Rathee, Rest Mgr Mr. Manoj Edwin, Front off Mgr Mr. Nimish Mathur and last but not the least Ritik, our butler, who was with us a like our shadow. It would be unfair not to mention house keeping, they pampered us with a foot soak every night. If there is one thing money can't buy, it's the love we were shown at The Rambagh. The personal service and courtesy was outstanding. It beats all the other Palace properties hollow. We have been to Umaid Bhawan, Faluknuma and Lake Palace . While all of them were fabulous and our experience with each was fantastic, this one takes the cake, the baker and the icing. My husband and myself were so overwhelmed with the hospitality of each one there, we actually had tears in our eyes while leaving after 3 short days. If I could, I would've stayed there for many more days to be pampered by all of them who spoilt us rotten. A big thank you to everyone who helped make our stay comfortable
Words fall short
Don't know where to start. The place left me speechless 1. Magnificent Palace: our day would start with Yoga at 7 .. play with peacocks .. breakfast with peacocks .. chill in Veranda .. lunch at Steam. Chill again at Verandah .. cultural evening .. unbelievable 2. People : everyone who works at the palace is so hospitable - it's crazy how kuch effort they out to make guests feel royal .. starting from Anslem who made meals great .. manish who was always helping us feeding peacocks or ensuring our 5 year old son Ayaan is enjoying himself. He went out of his way .. or Ravneet who I believe is interning but you can't ever guess that .. or the manager Jemina who made sure we were always taken care of .. Royal trip in true sense .. Taj will always be Taj .. respect !
