'Taj' lives upto its name and hype
I'm writing about my recent trip to this property. My husband and I were in Jaipur to meet some friends and it was his birthday so we decided to book ourselves a room at this gorgeous property- Jai Mahal that we'd seen online and read amazing reviews about. So we just booked it for one day. The booking process was very smooth, courtesy of Mr. Jaideep Singh. I coordinated with him over phone and he very patiently responded to all my queries and personally saw to it that we got the best room. He even asked me the purpose of our visit and I told him it was for my husband's birthday. What came next was a string of pleasant surprises. When we were driving and entering the property, the guard asked for our name, and he so warmly wished my husband a very happy birthday, with hands folded and a smile so wide that we knew this property is going to give us many memories. We then went to the front desk where we met Ms. Priya Chouhan, a lovely and kind lady. She gave us a tour of the property, told us about the history of the place and showed us our room. Soon after, we left the property to meet some friends, and when we came back, to our utter surprise, our room was decorated with colourful balloons and we had a lovely cake that was arranged by Ms. Priya. We were so touched by this gesture of hers. Apart from Mr. Jaideep and Ms. Priya, we were also warmly hosted by Mr. Aslam. He ensured to serve us well. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and greeted us with a wide smile everytime we met. We checked out the next day with our hearts so full from the beauty of the property and from having received such unparalleled hospitality from Mr. Jaideep, Ms. Priya and Mr. Aslam. This was my first experience with Taj, and my only regret is that we didn't stay any longer. This place is going to spoil you to bits. Prior to this, I never understood the hype around 'Taj' brand, but nowI know better. The kind of hospitality you get here, you will not find anywhere else in the world (Trust me, take it from the person who has travelled a lot, nationally and internationally). So, thank you Jai Villas for giving me so many memories in just one day. I am coming back soon :)

Best birthday breakfast
I took my sister here for morning breakfast surprise. The royal ambience and the live flute music was amazing. And we were extremely delighted with the service. Especially Laxman Ji who noticed us talking and brought cake for my sister. She felt overwhelmed.
lunch at Cinnamon!!
Everything here is so delicious. It was an awsome and thrilling experience. The staff is so polite and welcoming. From the giant enterance to the brilliant food and the cinnamon special ice cream everything was mind boggling. Special thanx to Manoj and Raj for the services.
The luxurious warmth of Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur.
We were in Jaipur for our biannual visit and our third stay at Jai Mahal Palace. To begin with, the location of the hotel is one of its star qualities. Flanked on one side by the Raj Bhawan and the other by the state assembly, the Palace is situated at the safest spot in the state. Civil lines has great boutiques and restaurants around the palace and one can observe the local bureaucrats and diplomats at the front gardens for the evening tea. As usual, the warm hospitality and charm of the palace is apparent right from the main gate. The drive up to the reception area is enough to give one a hint of the luxury and history that the palace carries. We were greeted by Ms Ayesha at the reception and they were aware of our arrival in advance. Although arriving earlier than expected, our garden facing room was ready with the keys waiting for us. Do remember to stop in the hallways and admire the royal era original paintings on the walls. The rooms are decent sized and i wouldn't call them big, but they surely aren't cramped. I found it interesting that they decided to retain all the original architecture and not compromise history for space. Their Indian restaurant is very very exclusive and well known in the city and its usually very difficult to get a walk-in table. So please remember to make dinner reservations in advance, the food is obviously worth it. There is also an Italian restaurant situated by the pool which is again, best in the city. We were helped by Mr. Narinder (who has been with the property ever since we have been going there) and the warmth with which he recommends and serves your food really heightens the overall experience. We had plans of travelling around the city and spend our three days but honestly, we left the property only for a day and spent the next two just lounging around the palace. This place has become a no brainer for our whole family during any of our jaipur trips and really feels like home no matter how long the gap in between trips. (BTW, we have also hosted my brother's wedding here and it is still spoken about as the best wedding the family has hosted) If you're planning a trip to Jaipur, your stay at Jai Mahal Palace will be the highlight. Points not to miss: -Opt for the meal+ package -Jiva spa (discounts with the package) -Peacocks all over the gardens in the mornings! -Largest pandemonium of parrots I've seen -Evening tea at marble arch -Kite Flying!
