Excellent location. Awesome food. Beautiful locale. Staff was helpful and courteous and kind. Spa was clean and hygiene. Gym facilities were good. Lot of long walks/ peacock feeding/ leisure time to do nothing but pamper yourself. The evening musical Sufi programme was excellent.
The palace is one of the most beautiful properties we have stayed in and to add to that is the TAJ hospitality, which leaves you speechless with their service- which is par excellence. Each and every member of the taj team whether it’s the front office or the food and beverage or the room service- have the art to understand your needs and read your pulse to serve you better and make your stay the most memorable. Taj excels in hospitality. Palace: when you stay here, it’s like staying in the era of the Nizam. Food: excellent Service: super excellent Hygiene: super
Flagship property experience
Falaknuma palace is one of Taj's flagship properties, and the experience justifies this stature. From the moment you enter the property (before check in), you're treated like royalty. I won't spoil the welcome by getting into details, but it's certainly nothing like I've experienced before. Our suite was opulent in the quality of furnishings and space, but not ostentatious. Morning views from our balcony included a peacock leisurely walking around the property. The guided palace tour gave a glimpse into the lifestyle and idiosyncrasies of the Nizam, and the guide Prabhakar (also a historian) was able to provide some truly fascinating nuggets of information. This tour was followed by an outdoor Sufi qawwali performance. The crisp weather enhanced this experience. Given the status of this property in Taj's portfolio, it is a bit pricey, but the experience is well worth it.
Personal touch, Royal ambiance and great food! Palace tour was informative, staff was courteous and professional, high tea is a must have, extremely homelike and comfortable ambiance, would definitely recommend this property for vacation
Had a wonderful and safe stay. The palace hotel delivers on what it promises. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. The restaurant offers delicious and slow cooked authentic non veg Hyderabad cuisine which is as good if not better than what you get as street food around Charminar. The Halim was actually melting in your mouth. The palace tour was very informative .The palace is situated atop a hill and all attractions of old Hyderabad are nearby. The only sore point was the fact that library of antique books of palace is closed due to Covid precautions. There were two books one of pictures of Falaknuma palace from 1890 and one of photographs of Nizam's jewellery which I was really intrested in. All in all i enjoyed every moment of my stay
