We were staying across the road and popped into the restaurant for dinner. Wow, food was superb - one of the best meals we had in our two weeks in India. My wife’s risotto was one of the best she has ever had and my prawn moilee was exceptional. Drinks and food very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.
Lovely hotel. Great air con. Soft beds good pillows. Staff more than obliging. Tom our waiter was a gem! Food in Restaurant was fun! Would definitely stay here again! Hire a Tuk Tuk from outside and spend a day with them.
We stayed here after a long flight from the uk. The hotel was perfect, l couldn't rate too highly. It was quiet, comfortable, cool, large beautifully furnished 1st floor room, lovely food and massages were heavenly. We tried yoga, explored the local area and drifted into holiday relaxation. Thank you.
You can’t fault a Relais & Chateau hotel and Malabar House is no exception. Nice service, terrific restaurant and centrally located. Though surprised no fresh fruit was served at breakfast. Kindly organised our onward car transfer to our next hotel. Sorry we only stayed one night.
Super stylish, super friendly
First impression was so lovely, walking through the gate and immediately greeted by name. Really impressive. I loved the location by the Parade Ground which, after a long gap (maybe ten years) since my last time in Cochin felt like a little corner of Fort Cochin that was less altered. My room was BEAUTIFUL! Overlooking the courtyard with its pool and restaurant, the most fantastic shower and nice toiletries. And the staff were a joy. Surya and Sufin were so friendly and kind and Aamla super helpful; Tom and the other restaurant staff managed to make me feel like I was among friends so the solo dining (work trip) didn't feel at all lonely. It's definitely a return to place.
