The Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, which encompasses the 45-square-mile Tadoba National Park, is the oldest and largest tiger park in the state of Maharashtra. Largely unknown outside of India, the reserve actually has a relatively high population of Bengal tigers within its borders – the dense bamboo forests being one of their favourite habitats. Other species you may spot in the park include leopard, wild dog, barking deer and cheetal.
