Most game drives in Satpura National Park are in shared Jeeps. For a supplement, you can upgrade to a private Jeep which is available on request. In order to control visitor numbers, the majority of these are operated by the national parks while a handful of lodges have their own vehicles and guides. Every July the park closes as the monsoon season arrives and it reopen in early October; the park is also closed on Wednesday afternoons.
