This property and the staff are so special. From the welcome to the goodbye, we were enthralled by the level of detail put into making our stay exceptional. A thousand thank you's wouldn't have been enough - Ratna and her team made us feel so comfortable and well-taken care of at all times. We especially fell in love with Jaysuriya, a staff member who stopped by to say hello and chat with us, while managing all his duties. The naturalists on the property are well-knowledgeable and our safari into Ranthambhore couldn't have been more perfect - we were lucky to see a tiger twice. The food was exceptional, they spoiled me with whatever request I had and made that particular dish on a whim, they didn't let me lift a finger - they wanted to take care of anything and everything including packing my fragile items for travel, and they sent us off with the sweetest gifts, that we'll treasure forever. I was holding back tears when I left, I loved my stay that much! Thank you so so much once again, and we cannot wait to return. Love from NYC!
Outstanding, plush wildlife resort in the vicinity of Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve
This is an outstanding lodge in the vicinity of Ranthambhore National Park. Accommodations are top-of-the-line in a cabin with a tent roof and a king-sized bed. The room, dining areas, and grounds are plush and very upscale and deserve a longer stay than we had time for. There is a swimming pool, pool table, and very nice restaurant (both inside and outside). The service at the lodge was outstanding. All of the staff at the lodge were as friendly and accommodating as you will find anywhere. We were a bit sensitive to Indian food but they have continental food selections as well as Indian which we found quite good. They have a pet rescue elephant names Lakshme who you may feed once a day. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking to experience the wilds of India without roughing it in the least. It is a bit of a ride from Ranthambore (30-45 minutes depending on which section of the park you enter) and the park roads are quite rough, but there were sightings of mature male tigers while we were there so worth the drive.
This is the place to stay if you want to receive the highest level of service in a beautiful, retreat style property. Quiet, borders the jungle, the tent style rooms are amazing, staff offers unparalleled service and operate as one team, yoga in the morning, nature walks on the property and of course the jungle ride is a must - especially if you get to see a tiger. Food and music are fantastic. More than a place to stay it is an experience! Thank you all at the Oberoi Ranthambhore for a life memory.
Omg, amazing and Gorgeous
All of the Oberoi hotels are world class hotels, an oasis in the middle of chaos. Everything is 5 star. Thee rooms, the resort you name it they are wonderful! The hotel manager greets you personally. Think colonial old India/English. The food is amazing. Make sure you do cocktails by the bonfire, wonderful. Meet the hotel elephant who was saved from a circus years ago and now leads a wonderful life on the hotel grounds. Once again the food and staff are amazing!
I have stayed in many fine hotels in the world but this one tops the list. From the moment you arrive the staff is anticipating your needs before you know you have them. Spacious luxurious tents designed to make you feel at home. Delicious cuisine served by the attentive staff. The whole experience was top rate. Plus we saw Bengal tigers in the park on our drives. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel😍❤️
