Famously the inspiration for Rudyard Kipling’s novel The Jungle Book, Kanha is another Indian park where tiger sightings are quite likely. The park consists of sal and bamboo forests, meadows and ravines which provide shelter to many species of wildlife – some of which have been brought back from the brink of extinction. It’s easy to see how Kanha inspired one of the world’s most beloved collection of stories.
