Me and my husband booked in September (2019) ten relaxing days at Mykonos Theoxenia Hotel. Our stay at the hotel exceeded all expectations. Starting from an excellent host, polite and willing staff, a sea view restaurant and a deluxe sea front room with bright colors. We enjoyed the sunset, the massage in the pool and we took a lot of photos to the windmills in front of the hotel. The best part is that they provide free transfer from/to the airport and that the center is just 3 minutes walk from the hotel.

1st point of stop takes a good 5 minutes walk from the boat alot of souvenir shops and restaurants nice. The white and blue paint gives you the beautiful ambiance of the place. The shops and side streets are lovely to walk down
Beautiful Place to Visit
We stopped in Mykonos as the final port on our 7 day cruise. I wish we had more time to visit but if I am ever able to return to Greece, I would like to spend at least a few days. The little shops were fun to browse through and we did visit a couple of the art galleries.
With a heavy heart..
It really is with a heavy heart that I write this review. Having been to the hotel on 3 previous occasions I was really looking forward to this visit....and all went well until the last day when my partner and I were assaulted by another guest, who had just been beating his girlfriend and then aggressively attacked us. Whilst the hotel cannot be held responsible for his behaviour, they can be held responsible for failing to eject him immediately from the hotel and/or calling the Police and then lying to us about the actions they had taken against him. I was assured by the hotel manager that the guest had been confined to his room (he hadn't been) and that he would be removed by the Tourist Police the next day (he wasn't). Instead we and all of the other guest had to put up with this aggressive man prowling around the hotel and its bars, putting us all in fear of our safety. This was completely unacceptable. It was clear to me that the hotel manager was more interested in hushing matters up and keeping this man in his expensive room in the hotel than doing the right thing. I can see no circumstances in which I would ever go back to the Mykonos Theoxenia. Returning guests are not valued as they should be, and no hotel should allow its guest personal safety to be compromised in the way I experienced. I should add that I have tried to address matters by private emails to the hotel, but after not getting any response, the response I eventually did receive denied conversations that I sat and had with the hotel manager. Just not good enough, so one to avoid under current management.
