Sani Club: Excellent, especially with Lia!
We stayed already three times in Sani Club end of April, beginning of May. A beautiful hotel with excellent services. The restaurants are fabulous. The scenery is great and our kids love the heated pools. In particular the private pool during our last stay was top-notch!! The staff is very well trained and attending, this really adds extra value to the experience. We really look forward to seeing Lia, the guest services manager of Sani Club, this year again. Lia is the perfect example of how you can make guests feel at home with a five star treatment!
Your every whim catered for!
Stay 5 nights at the Sani Club in May with friends. Words cannot describe the level of service this hotel provides, they won't even let you carry your towels to your sunbeds that is how dedicated they are to ensuring you have the most relaxing careful holiday experience. We stayed in a Junior Suite with Private Garden, beautiful spacious room and bathroom (3 adults sharing and more than enough space). Amazing views to the ocean and peninsula. In the room was a large double bed (may be queen or king size not sure) and the 3rd bed was the sofa bed which was quite hard to sleep on (firmness wise). The buffet restaurant had unlimited options you cannot try everything due to the sheer volume, we also had full board so ate both at the main buffet restaurant and tried a number of the a la carte options in the harbour and all served amazing food (tip make sure you use the Sani App to pre-book restaurants to not miss out). Loads of activities to try out as well, we done yoga on a couple of the mornings and also the water sports facility we tried the padelos and one of the motor sports. Again the service is what i was truly impressed about, and would make me book/recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.
The best hotel we have stayed in Europe
The best thing about this hotel is the service (in addition to lovely location, facilities). They make you feel welcome from the very start and completely spoil the guests. The staff go out of the way to treat you special e.g. my son wanted to play pool but we did not have change. The staff opened the table for him and refused my offer to pay by card. The clientele here is very upmarket and a number of people have come here multiple times. The choice of restaurants is very good as well. It is quite relaxed and no rush to find sun beds etc. Amazing experience overall.
Astonished to find all reviews so accurate!
As a regular reviewer on trip advisor and one with VERY high standards, I was amazed to find this resort not only met all of my expectations but EXCEEDED it on so many levels that I will be returning! From the room with a view (stunning), cleanliness, helpfulness, facilities, kids club, restaurants, just everything!! Someone to clean your sunglasses while you are sunbathing? - no problem! The night we arrived the resort had just been hit by a mini typhoon which caused massive damage including flooding, down power-lines and tragically the death of a few of the villagers. Incredibly the people appeared from nowhere to clear the roads and get everything back to normal. The resort staff worked above and beyond expectations and couldn't apologise enough for any inconvenience (as if the weather was their fault!) they even sent a very expensive bottle of champagne to our room to apologise. The choice of restaurants soon becomes the topic of conversation for the day! The only thing I will change for the next visit, is to book the restaurants I want (time) as soon as I arrive as they get booked-up for breakfast & dinner. We preferred to breakfast at Pine restaurant (less busy) and had 4/5 favourite restaurants. Began to look like seafood after eating at Ouzerie 5 times during our trip - amazing views, amazing seafood, amazing service - just utterly amazing!! I can't wait to go back - I hope it doesn't change. All restaurants catered for myself and my daughters silly food allergy (nightshade) with no problem, (difficult when tomatoes are one of the ingredients), we hardly noticed that we had a problem and frequently the head chef would appear and produce something bespoke for us. The kids club was the best. My daughter never previously stayed in any - thought they were all silly, didn't speak her language, other kids were different ages, all they were given were colouring etc. - Not So Here. Kids were split into age ranges. activities were listed daily/weekly. Some were incredible for water-lovers like mine - and included water park events. Many tears (from daughter and other children/staff) when she left. Above all this resort, and you don't have to stay in one - all are connected, the staff make it. They are friendly, helpful and unusually are actively encouraged to THINK FOR THEMSELVES!!!! Wish I had spent some time collecting names to publish here to say thanks but that would leave some out so all of them just about covers it. Lia Papaoikonomou - the guest services manager - even caught up with us in Ouzerie on our last night to discuss our stay - wonderful.
Repeat experience with all family
2nd visit after a 10 year break, this time with both daughters, and everyone was blown away with the service received The transfer from the airport refreshed our memories of the area and also the arrival was welcoming. All the restaurants that we attended were excellent, with plenty of variety to meet everyone's needs. It helped alot to have been there before, with a few changes which embraces ever changing expectations. Sani Beach has evolved and we embrace their commitment to the market place. We immediately booked for next year upon our return, as the experience is well worth repeating. From the food/enviroment/service/ facilities and of course the friendly staff is a market leader. And yes when you go to a Travel Agent ,and they ask where you've been, mention Sani Beach , they know a standard you expect.
