Restaurants & bars

Dining at Eva Palace embraces the Mediterranean lifestyle: long, leisurely feasts served al fresco, with beautiful views. Pick a table on the tiered stone terrace of La Contessa for dinner with a view: the Ionian Sea unfurling before you like a like a turquoise tablecloth scattered with tiny diamonds. The menu trots blithely around the globe, with cuisine that matches up to the setting. Mediterraneo is poised high above a cove, and has a leafy verandah lined with tropical flowers. Take in the island-dotted horizon from your rattan scoop chair as you feast on lavish dishes made with local, seasonal ingredients.

The newest addition to the restaurant scene is Steak & Sushi, which combines two of the finer things in life. Chefs draw on the bounty of the sea and land to freshly prepare the likes of sashimi and nigiri, paired with the finest cuts around. The colonnaded restaurant opens onto the pool terrace, where white-linen tables are arranged around the lantern-lit water. Reservations are required.

For drinks, Serenissima Bellini-Bar spills out onto an open-sided terrace, with shocking-pink flowers cascading over the wrought-iron balcony. Live music sets a relaxed mood for evening cocktails looking out over the bay – best enjoyed at sunset. Elsewhere, a swim-up pool bar and beach bar serves all-day refreshments.

You can also mix it up by dining at the food venues of Grecotel Corfu Imperial Hotel, including an a la carte gourmet restaurant (bookings necessary).
