We recently visited for seven nights and it was fantastic. The location is second to none. Most of all the staff and all the people we encountered on the island were the most pleasant and happiest we've ever come across in all the vacations we've taken. We stayed in a beach bungalow with beautiful sand and steps from the water where we snorkelled and saw beautiful fish, including sting rays. We had a package with breakfast included and it was great. Prices are expensive but not as bad as it looks when you consider taxes and tips are included. Reliable WiFi. Excursions included snorkelling among sharks and sting rays. All safe. Even patted the rays. Special mention to Vahine and Muona (sic). Many off site restaurants will pick you up. Would love to return some day.
Following our 11 day Polynesian cruise, we flew to Bora Bora for a 6-night stay in the over-the-water bungalow. The boat met us at the airport for our transfer to the hotel (Bora Bora airport is on an island by itself so all transfers are by boat). Mao from the front desk met us at the pier and escorted us to the hotel. She offered refreshments and took care of the check-in. She gave us a tour of the hotel and its facilities then escorted us t our bungalow. Our luggage had already been delivered. Shortly after, Laurence Levy the hotel manager came to greet and welcome us. There is a main dining room as well as casual dining by the pool and along the waterfront. Happy hour every night between 5:30 and 6:30. Buffet breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices. Complete dining menu although both my husband and I found main course portions too large for us. Easy access to booking activities through the hotel or car rental, etc.. We felt treated like VIP's at all times. Our bungalow was large with living area and separate bedroom. Double sink bathroom with bath ans separate shower. Room service available. AC in all rooms with 2 TV's. On the outside deck, shower to rinse off after swimming. We were really impressed with the level of service and friendlyness of the staff.
We stayed two nights after our sailing trip. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are nice all have views of the ocean or beach so don’t spend money to upgrade for a better view. The swim up bar area is nice but each drink is $20 or up so it’s really expensive day drinking I recommend buying your wine, champagne and rum in town. The Polynesia night show was beautiful and entertaining but get there early if you want a seat. We had an issue with the front desk giving our room key to someone who was not staying in our room so I recommend keeping your valuables and cash locked in the room safe. Overall a beautiful hotel and great lagoon & pool but very expensive to eat & drink here.
Tough to find anything different to say from the other Excellent ratings. Quiet, clean, beyond friendly, awesome location, great food. Bungalow life is just awesome! We will stay again....we hope, 🙂!
Great Resort and Location!
Anyone visiting Bora Bora should stay at this resort. Great location attached to the main island allowing one to walk and explore. The bungalows are great and clean! The staff is awesome and friendly. A definite recommendation.
