Views for Daysss
As a local tourist, im always looking out for good local experiences. Had a few minor hiccups in the beginning but Im glad management was listening and issues were addressed. So this is my main takeaway. If youre expecting brand new facilities, this may not meet your expectations BUT if its experiences youre after then this is a good place to start. Hotels are just resuming after almost 6 months of lockdowns nationwide and staffing may be experiencing changes so please keep this in mind if expecting services to be prompt. Keeping that in mind, although food took a while from the kitchen, my experience with the food was also great so no complaints there. Miriama was an excellent server. Warwick has sand sea and views for daysss and Im sure others would make the most of it like i sure the heck did. I suggest drinks by the pool bar with Amenisitai who was professional and engaging. Sepesa who looks after activities is also another gem to get to know while there. You know when you meet a person who has passion for the work they do and he is the model for it.
When we checked in to our room it was still dirty I.e it had not been made from the last guest. We waited another hour for it to be made and with the pandemic we weren't sure how clean the room would be so luckily we had our own antibacterial wipes and wiped everything down. And for our troubles of arriving in a dirty room we only got a complimentary bottle of water. As someone who works in this industry, I would have given a fruit platter at least. Each room gets its own pool card which allows you to get a towel. We didn't get ours and weren't aware of this until we went to the beach, so our first swim involved us patting ourselves dry with our clothes. Dinner was a let down. $15 for 6 vegetable spring rolls, steamed veges was just heated frozen vegetables and was very soggy. My partner had the pork which was supposed to come with baked potatoes, instead came with breadfruit chips which didn't taste fresh. The pork was also dry. I had the chicken which was also dry. We were also charged extra on the beverage but this was fixed after we mentioned this to the waitress. On the second night we had the chicken curry which was again oily and the Thai red fish curry. I've made Thai curry before and that was not thai. Both curries had half the bowl made up of potato. Breakfast was ok but there wasn't much meat selection except for sausages and the ham in the omelettes. There was no orange or apple juice. The brewed coffee also over roasted which had a really bitter after taste. The only thing we enjoyed was the free pool table in the lobby

I am more then happy to amend my rating how ever my partner and I will be staying at the Wawrick hotel in December and my partner and I have both sent emails about booking dinner and massages so we don’t miss out when we arrive as the Fiji bubble opens up and we are anticipating that it will be busy but we haven’t heard back what so ever I have also reached out and messaged the Instagram page which is very active and my message has not been read. This is a very special trip for us and I’m really hoping the communication isn’t this bad when we arrive.
Awesome stay, friendly staff, amazing buffet and to top of that, no tourists due to COVID travel ban. Great to see locals enjoying their stay as much as we did and I just wish the Weekend special would've lasted till Monday, but it was a'right.
We stayed at the Warwick back in December for 1 night. Property is a bit tired and Staff were not very engaging at times but overall experience was okay. We had buffet dinner which was value for money for sure
