Cotopaxi National Park

Marvel at the ice-covered peak of one of the world’s highest active volcano in Cotopaxi National Park. Depart from Quito and head south towards the 82,515 acre park that encompasses the iconic Cotopaxi Volcano. Upon arrival there will be a short talk focussing on the region’s habitats, flora and fauna. Your next stop is the Limpiopungo Lagoon where you may glimpse bird life and even wild horses. Enjoy lunch at a local hacienda or restaurant.

Live Quito Like a Local Excursion

Here, a colourful array of ponchos, scarves, blankets and many other crafts are on sale. Practice your haggling in the  unique silent fashion of the market as you try to secure a bargain. Travel on to the town of Peguche where you can witness the locals hand weaving the products that you have just seen on sale at the market. Enjoy lunch at a local hacienda or inn.
