Supposed to be an authentic Hammam
It was my birthday and i was gifted an hammam experience at the spa at the ond and only Royal Mirage. It is a beautiful venue. The mansger was very friendly and nice..the other reception staff ignored me. The dressing room was the same as in any golfclub. I was taken to a private hammam room. The maseur spoke in monosyllables and was washing a piece of meat, which was me. Then he left me with the soap on my body to lie in the steam and supposedly relac. First the music was too soft and then too loud and then low again.? He came back and i asked him what was next and barely got a reply. This was where i gave up and left. The manager tried to supply another masseur, but I had enough . Disappointed with such a good hotel.
My wife and I booked a room at this hotel and before we checked in we had a room upgrade.. This hotel is spectacular, the rooms are fantastic and the staff are so accommodating, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay during these unprecedented times, this hotel is most highly recommended, we hope to stay again before we leave Dubai👍
A pleasurable rest
Had a relaxing 3 nights at the Residence - the smallest and most private of the 3 hotels which occupy the site. We were greeted very warmly on arrival. Checkin was quick and easy and our room was ready on time. The property is 20 years old but so well maintained that it looks new, the décor and ambience feel like an English stately home. The grounds are beautiful day and night. Thank you Nidhesh for making us feel specially welcome and to Rahul and Hicham for taking time out to meet us. The prestige bedroom was spacious with a grand bathroom, large shower cubicle incorporating a marble bench to sit on; a balcony with privacy and a lovely view. The bed was very comfortable, no backaches! The bed linen, towels & bath amenities were all top notch. The hairdryer was the best my wife has used in a hotel. Our room was sanitised while we were out – thank you housekeeping – never had to call and complain about anything. We mostly ate at the Dining Room, in the Residence. The menu is limited but offered enough choice for a short stay and requests were welcome. After an initial hiccup, swiftly fixed by Ivan, our dining experience got better and better. The service, crockery, cutlery, table linen, cleanliness and food presentation plus the décor of the Dining Room is lovely to experience. A special thanks to Erwin and Sujeet for taking the trouble to learn our preferences and to Ivan and Stanly for looking after us. We ate at Eauzone once – disappointing and posted a separate review.
A stay to remember
Recently we have been spending a few days in One&Only Royal Mirage - and it was one of the most remarkable experience in Dubai. Staff was very welcoming and helpful, but at the same time not intrusive, making sure our needs are met before we even thought about it. I’d like to mention Prisca for her genuine and hospitable approach, that made us feel special. The location is stunning, peaceful and tranquil, allowing you to escape the hectic rhythm of everyday life. Rooms are elegant, as overall interior design of the hotel, and also spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and abundant and the dining room is absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend this place for a few days to relax and unwind.
Perfect staycation with friends
The hotel is stunning! We occupied two rooms in the Residences and enjoyed the time we spent there. The rooms are spacious, bright, and spotless. Everything has a sticker that reads "sanitized" so you can relax and enjoy your stay. The staff is welcoming and accomodating. Prisca, at the front desk, was the one to assist us and show us around. She was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed every minute of our time there and can't wait to go back sometime soon. A big thank you to the One & Only team. You are brilliant!
