Enjoy so much. Great Stuff. The Only problem the sound of nearby constructions. Great breakfast. Great Pool and great restaurants around but really expensive. The location is good. The beach water is quite dirt because of the constructions also
No proper curtains in the room, only light mesh so once the sun was up we couldn't sleep anymore. Breakfast was ok, a bit basic. Room was fine. As there is a lot of construction going on all around the hotel the view isn't nice
Fantastic day - Savi the masseuse was the highlight. She was professional, knowledgeable and left me feeling so relaxed. Breakfast at Bounty Beets was lovely too. The pool area is lovely and the cocktails are great (sometimes,at all day packages, the cocktails are a little water - not so here!)
Solid family hotel. Not got the wow factor but still very nice
Review: Le Meridien Mina Seyahi, Dubai Marina (with access to Westin) 695 half board 2 adults 2 kids under 12 Check in was quick and efficient and our room was ready by 10am. We did have to chase our bags but we were by poolside by 10.30am! The hotel was recommended as good for families and I would say that’s definitely true. However a few people on staycation groups said they have great pools and slides and there is literally 1 slide for toddlers / very small kids. The pool in the Mina is nice but small and we headed to the Westin pool which you can also use when staying at the Mina. Not sure if the Westin room / half board rates are better but worth exploring. The pools in both properties are slightly salty water which may be an issue for some. It does irritate my daughter’s skin but it wasn’t too bad as it was only slightly salty. There is also a huge adults only section in the Westin side so you can definitely escape kids here too! The kids club kept my 10 and 11 year old very happy for a few hours and they said the staff were lovely! Pro Tip: bring socks! Kids must be wearing their own socks or you can buy some non slip ones (think Bounce / JumpBoxx socks) for 10 dirhams. The rooms are basic but bright and clean with very nice toiletries and there was plenty of space to add a second bed for the kids. The housekeeping service was quick and nothing was too much bother. Extra bed, towels and toiletries were brought quickly upon request. There is an ATM and a small shop with all the things you might forget or break! Plenty of options for dining and many of them are on the entertainer. The menu at Bounty Beets looks divine! If you want an alcoholic drink by the pool you must buy food but we only got the kids an ice cream and that seemed to tick the box. We ate at Horizon beach bar in the Mina for lunch using entertainer. Check the prices for drinks as we were shown a menu with cocktails at 32 aed each when we asked what was valid for the entertainer and then charged a totally different (and almost double) price for them. The food however was really amazing and plenty of it! When it came to dinner we were initially disappointed to be told at 4pm that the Bussola pizzeria was fully booked already! The other options were not suitable for our kids so we initially asked for a refund on the half-board as it looked like we’d need to go out to eat. In the end they found us a table and honestly I can see why it was fully booked!! It’s a very good pizzeria!! The service and atmosphere was excellent and we had so much beautiful quality food! The Bussola fine dining downstairs was also in the half board option and looked incredible. This was the highlight of the stay for sure. Pro Tip: check the menus ahead of time, decide your evening meal option and book at check in to avoid disappointment! Especially for the pizzeria as they were constantly having to turn people away as people clearly come to eat here who are not staying at the hotels. The hotel is definitely operating at a lower capacity so distancing was easy at the pools and in the restaurants. It didn’t feel crowded and we could get a 3pm check out with no issues. The breakfast in ‘The Latest Recipe’ was delicious and great quality. Served at the table with fruits, cold cuts, pastries and all the favourite hot items. The staff are very attentive and can’t do enough to make it comfortable for you. Another highlight for sure. A very nice hotel with great staff. The views are not spectacular due to construction almost every direction you look so being on the beach doesn’t have the wow factor at all. But the grounds are very nice and green. Golf buggies will take you between the hotels and pools and it looks like a small waterpark is being built which will be a very nice addition. Overall a solid little staycation for 695 for the 4 of us. We spent approximately 500 on top and used the entertainer at lunch. Do check carefully the entertainer offers though as we felt a little mislead a couple of times.
Hawa was fast and efficient, check in was within two minutes and the best I've ever experienced. I would also like to thank Mr. Mahmood the front office manager for his kindness, your gesture portrays a person of integrity and wealth for Le Meridian. Appreciation to Sam (recreation operations manager) for recommending the staycation which turned to be one of a kind experience. FNB team Kit, Vimal and the Bussolla thanks for the unforgettable birthday dinner, your efforts are worth recognition always. The housekeeping team (don’t know the names) amazing towel setup you almost made me believe it was a cake (origami) . We did try the pool and managed to get service from Hari whose service was excellent and super-fast. In general Le Meridian offered a pleasant stay during my birthday, keep up the good work will definitely come back and recommend. And the attention to details regarding COVID-19 measures made our stay more comfortable and we felt safe just as Sam (recreation operations manager) assured us.. Rating - 10/10More
