Great time in the Dominican Republic

Enjoyed our stay at Dreams Palm Beach. The staff was fantastic and exceeded our every need. The room was comfortable, but could use an upgrade. The restaurants and bars were first class and the entertainment was very good. The property was beautiful and well maintained. We loved our pool in the Preferred area with our own bar, lounge, concierge, and buffet. Carlos, our pool attendant was beyond terrific! He made the experience special!!

trip #4 just as good as the first 3!

Stayed Nov 23-30 w my son and 2 friends were w us a few days. Food is amazing as are all the staff. Portofino and Seaside are our favorites. Caesar in the Seaside is the man. Yohan and Saber (Jose) at the swim up bar will keep you entertained and your drink full all day. My son loves the coffee shop and visits 2-3 x's a day. The people who work @ this resort are all amazing. Booking for a return tip in late March today. Can't wait to see my DR family soon!

Great hotel but does not meet all expectations

I found the hotel to be great, the rooms are small with very little space to put clothes. The room with 2-double beds are 2-double beds, not queens. Very small beds from what I am used to, but they were comfortable with very good linens. The resort did not really live up to what I expected from a "DREAMS" resort. Expected premium liquor throughout and upgraded liquor at Preferred Club.Expected "canned beer" at the pool area, only draft. Other Dream's resorts and Riu Palace properties have canned beer. Love the now reservation dining, found all restaurants to be very good. Service was a bit slow at some, but I am on vacation and not in a hurry. The beach was beautiful. Was in preferred club category and expected more upgrades for the room. They indicated upgraded mini bar. The only thing I can think that was upgraded was that we got a milky way chocolate bar each evening. One chocolate bar for the four of us. Also, Dream's typically offer a Miller or Bud product - Not that I could find at all. Place was very clean and staff was GREAT. They really made the resort enjoyable, but were never pushy for involvement. Preferred Club pool area was very quiet - So did not really like that, but if that is your thing, then Preferred Club is worth it. Advertised hours for Preferred club did not match hours on-site - Did not open until 7am, they advertise 6:30 am - So that was a bit rough to not be able to get anything to eat before we left for a day tour to Monkey Land (Which was GREAT) - I would not rate this a 6-golden Apple hotel, but was still very nice and clean. Always felt safe at the hotel and was never worried.

Vacation

This resort was very pleasing to be at and everything was close together so it was not a far walk, it had amazing service and fanominal food, the beach was big and had room for plenty of people. I highly recommend going to this resort

Wonderful staff

We love this place, this being our 4th visit, as you get out of your transportation they welcome you home, we were whisked away to the preferred reception handed a glass of champagne then shown to our room. Which was lovely and clean if a little dated, as I’ve said it’s the staff that make your holiday here Yogina and Emilio kept us topped up with perfect G&T’s and Cosmopolitans in the preferred bar continue to excel with the drinks and laughs, they love their Jobs. The pools and beach are beautifully clean and yet again the staff don’t let you down Jorge keeps you topped up with your favourite drinks. Still find that people can’t resist reserving sun beds they don’t plan on using until the afternoon why ? . Coco coffee with Orly in the mornings was always perfect. Loved the Restaurants, food was great and glad to see the wine was good to. Entertainment was fun great shows. We look forward to another return visit
