Each of the 79 open-plan rooms feels like a work of art, with stunning swathes of colour and large focal pieces of art adding to the modern vibe, and a glass-panelled bathroom occupying the same stylish space as the bedroom. Book one of the Superior Rooms or, for more space, a Prestige Room. Grand Deluxe Rooms are larger, while Junior Suites have a seating area and upgraded toiletries. The excellent Vine Spa has a wide range of treatments to help you relax, refresh and rejuvenate. Specialising in ‘vinotherapy’, many treatments feature a range of grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet. Try the signature Madeira wine massage to revitalise your body and soul.
Located in the heart of a shopping complex, you are just a short distance from the city's monuments and the Municipal Garden. Take the cable car to Monte Tropical Garden Palace for views over the harbour and city.
To help reduce plastic and glass waste, the hotel has an Eco Water Station where you can fill your bottle up with unlimited excellent quality water.
The hotel can arrange green fees for access to Santo da Serra. Robert Trent Senior's 27-hole course is known for its dramatic landscapes.
