Magma Resort Santorini is a top-of-the-world escape that’s part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt – one-off resorts in unique settings.
An earthy retreat on Vourvoulos’ lava-made slopes where sunbeds are submerged in an infinity pool and evenings come with sea views, firepits and sunsets. Everything connects you to the elements, from the underground spa with its indoor pool and volcanic-inspired treatments to fresh island bounty at Magma by Spondi restaurant. Rooms
The grey-and-natural-wood-toned décor extends to the 59 rooms and suites. Apart from the Santorini King Sea View Rooms, which are wonderfully spacious for Santorini and have views over the road and towards the sea from the balcony, all the rooms and suites feature either a hot tub or a private pool on the terrace. We particularly love the Harmony Junior Suites and Lava Suites which have a bit more space, modern four-poster beds and a far-reaching sea view.

Facilities
Magma by Spondi, is an indoor-outdoor restaurant that’s overseen by the two-Michelin-star chef, Arnaud Bignon, the man behind the much-loved restaurant Spondi Athens. Colombo Restaurant is the all-day diner whilst Astra Lounge and Bar on the Rocks are the choice for pre-dinner cocktails.
Magma by Spondi Restaurant
Michelin-star chef Arnaud Bignon has created innovative menus using local and seasonal produce. Accompanied by Santorini wines, the tasting menu takes you on a journey from the volcanic hills to the sea.
Colombo Restaurant
The hotel's main restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Throughout the day you can enjoy favourites such as pasta, salads and risottos.
Astra Lounge
Enjoy a pre or post dinner drink in the lounge bar.
Bar on the Rocks
Chill out at the pool bar where the mixologists are on stand by to create your favourite cocktail.
Described as 'an eruption of delicious emotions' treat yourself to the fine dining tasting menu at Magma by Spondi.
What's included
Breakfast at Magma Restaurant
An indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room and fitness centre form the facilities at the sustainability designed Lava Spa. Treatments here have been created to leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Many of the rituals have been inspired by the volcanic landscape of Santorini including salt crystal exfoliations, seaweed wraps and shell massages.
Take a tour of one of Santorini's vineyards, explore the volcanic landscape and hot springs, or head across to the island of Thirassia.
Overlooking the Aegean Sea and Anafi Island, the infinity pool is a popular spot. Transfers are provided to Exo Yalos Beach Club where sunbeds and a beach bar await.
