Perfect & Beautiful
We had a wonderful holiday here. The staff were exceptional in every department. The barman, Aris, was so friendly. The housekeeping staff were amazing and our room was always perfect. The pool staff were quick and always there to help. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff were wonderful, including Luigi. The resort was immaculately clean. And the restaurants were beautiful and served great food. We would highly recommend this resort to friends and family. Thank you everyone!!
Very good hotel
Very good hotel. The room is spacious and clean. There are 3 outdoor pools including for children and an indoor pool. The food is great. Private beach. We got rooms facing the sea. Very nice view. There is also a gym and spa at the hotel. The staff is very kind.
From checking in to check everything was excellent, all the staff very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home, special mention to the bellboys very helpful at all times, the room was very comfortable, lobby area very nice to sit in with a gin and tonic, the host at the lunchtime restaurant was very friendly also the young lady from Poland, we live in paphos so will return regularly excellent stay
We stayed in the Elysium for a week at the beginning of August and were amazed by the abundance of amenities. The whole experience was absolutely breath-taking thanks to all the welcoming and caring staff. Here are my thoughts on the main elements of the hotel: The Outdoor Main Pool: Easily the standout feature of the hotel. Refreshing, clean, large and topped off with a bar (with seats IN THE ACTUAL POOL) serving mouth-watering meals and well priced drinks - perfect for a relaxed lunch. In addition the pool staff are always around to make sure you're comfortable. Although the royal pool and indoor pool are lovely and have their own qualities, the outdoor pool is understandably and easily the more popular pool. The Staff: This hotel would probably be 5 star with bog-standard staff, however, because of the kind-hearted, compassionate and patient staff you can forget about the 7 star Burj al-Arab in Dubai because the incredible staff upgrade this hotel to an 8 star standard. From our amazing valet (Fantos) to the helpful concierge to the friendly waiters, everyone was extremely nice and carried an astonishingly positive vibe. They are all exceptional at their jobs and are the main reason we will be returning to the hotel next summer...and probably the summer after that!! The food: The breakfast buffet, Lemonia Plaza- an amplitude of fresh and delicious food to start the day well. In addition, there is a variety of freshly squeezed juices- and even some champagne if your feeling naughty! The O'shin restaurant- authentic, lavish asian food. Less value, small portions but delicious. If you do go, you must try the cod - it was absolutely fantastic. The Epicuran buffet- wouldn't recommend, average food, definitely our least favourite dinner of the trip The Mediteraneo- Good value, fresh, delicious food, insane views of the sea. The best meals of our trip were had in this restaurant. You should definitely come here more than once during your stay to try a multitude of delightful dishes on this restaurant's lengthy menu. Overall, we found the food to be much better inside the hotel than outside the hotel. It is important to note that restaurants in the town or the harbour are touristy and similarly priced to the restaurants in the Elysium resort, but they lack the same freshness, quality and an exuberant atmosphere. The Gym: Although I doubt many people want to go to the gym on holiday, if your into training and fitness like me, you won't be disappointed by the gym. To briefly summarise, the main gym has sufficient dumbbells and kettlebells, a few treadmills and a rowing machine for your cardio, a smith machine (which of course isn't ideal but it gest the job done), and a few other machines (leg extensions, lat pulldown machines etc.). (Some advice: If your not travelling with young children, make your dinner reservations are for after 8 p.m. so that you can enjoy the beautiful sunset coming as red-velvet to crown the sweetest of days: the hotel is perfectly positioned for you to watch as the sun dives into the sea, so it would be a shame to miss it. Then return to the Sunset bar after dinner to enjoy a cocktail with the outstanding live music.) To conclude, this hotel is paradise. It has everything you could ever need and more. There is a lot more for me to praise about this hotel but I shan't make this review to long. I'd like to once again thank all the incredible staff for giving me and my family the best 7 days of our lives. See you next summer Elysium!!
Beautiful hotel, friendly and efficient staff
We could not find fault with this hotel. The staff were so friendly in every area and provided a great service. The buffet restaurant had an excellent choice of food every day and we didn't try the others! The hotel is beautiful, comfortable bedrooms and cleaned everyday. Pool are is clean and lovely pools. Great location to get to Paphos by walking or the hotel shuttle. We thoroughly recommend this hotel.
