Disappointing on every level
Dear Hotel Manager, My family and I had the misfortune of staying at your hotel from 09/07to 11/07 in room number 239-240 (normally our check out date was for the 12/07 but we had to leave your hotel earlier due to very poor service). During our stay, we encountered a number of unsatisfactory service levels that I think you should know of and hopefully do something about. First, the air conditioning of our room was not working properly and as a consequence the high temperature and the noise left us awake the whole night,especially my 14 months old daughter. Second, the fridge was not working, so my medications were damaged and I had to find a new prescription for antibiotics and a pharmacy to buy new ones. Third, the breakfast was very poor for my and also for your standards! It is unacceptable also to bring the ordered plate in pieces...first the overcooked eggs after 20 minutes the bacon after 15 minutes the cold already mushrooms! Fourth, the by the pool service was also below average. I had to cross the pool or to go around the whole area to ask for something. Not to mention that the next day the place was not clean. Fifth, I am still waiting for warm water to prepare my daughter’s milk (asked at the restaurant by the pool). Sixth, please do something with the people walking inside the pool with cigars or arrange seminars how they should treat a cigar, you see I am also a cigar lover but I respect the places and the others. Seventh , it was not possible to have a proper dinner to Anassa!!! Due to mistakes and unnecessary serving delays. I didn’t even finish my dinner. If you cannot handle too many people or events just don’t arrange anything and try to serve your customers. I am very disappointed because the manager and the owner’s were eating while I was trying to have my starter after 40 minutes of waiting with water and bread. Eigth nobody informed us that there will be a barbecue event so one more day without even the possibility to book a table!!! I hope you agree with me that this type of service is completely unacceptable at so many levels. It is not the kind of treatment I would have expected from a five star hotel of your state and caliber. I am very disappointed from this bitter experience. I would like to hear your thoughts about my complaint and the steps that you are willing to take to prevent such incidents in the future. Regards
One of the best places to travel during Corona Summer
Other than most other hotels that I visited during the last weeks the Anassa has not adopted its service level to the number of guests. Exemplary Corona measures and the unique facilities makes it a real hideaway to travel to. Seriously recommended place!
shockingly poor 😢
As regular visitors to this hotel we arrived looking forward to a few days of rest and relaxation in the luxury we had come to know and love with the Anassa. Sadly this visit has disappointed on almost every level. Whilst the individual members of staff have continued to be excellent the hotel is horrendously understaffed. From the arrival ...where there were no porters to receive the car or luggage to the 2 hour wait for our food to arrive at last night's shambles of a dinner where we ended up leaving before receiving our main course, all the while while the owners and general manager sat enjoying what appeared to food delivered to their table! Breakfast seem unable to deliver a poached egg or indeed bring it together with any other hot food. I have no problem paying top dollars for our holidays but we do so expecting top dollar service. Sadly we are left staying in a beautiful 5 star hotel receiving 2 star service. This hotel is shadow of its former self and we shall not be returning. The photo is of the piles of plates and cups left for more than 3 hours next to our sunbeds yesterday. Oh and not forgetting the party which ensued until after midnight and the clean up from staff, right outside our children's bedroom.
I’m very disappointed what Anassa has become after lockdown
We were here already for several times before so I can say that Anassa became bad. -Service is 0 from 10! -From outside hotel looked dirty and abandoned. -No one meet you at the entrance to park your car and pick up the luggage. -No pool staff for arrange towels -No barman at the pool -They didn’t want to bring me iron and iron desk “because of safety reasons to avoid contact between people” but they are happy to iron it for me(of course not for free). Same with kettle. -Breakfast without hot meal section (if you want something you need to order). Bread, juice, meat not first day fresh. Only 3 girls for service on breakfast. So you have to wait for a long time to order, to take away dirty plates and etc. -Prices for everything became much higher When you pay for such an expensive hotel you would like to be spoiled before it was like that but since they open again after lockdown to stay in Anassa it’s only stress. Don’t think that will come here again to waist my money.
Rest & Relaxation
Stunning hotel, great service, amazing spa and fantastic food in the most perfect location. I had a very relaxing stay. Highly recommend this hotel for solo traveller or families. The best hotel in Cyprus.
