Restaurants & bars

You could stay for two weeks at to Meliá Internacional and dine in a different restaurant each night, with 18 options to pick from (3 adults only). There’s Italian cuisine at Casa Nostra, traditional Cuban plates at Cubano, and Mexican flavourites at Hacienda. Show cooking stations create a theatrical vibe at the Merkado buffet restaurant, while Caribbean influences dominate Rumba, and traditional teppanyaki tables and other Japanese specialities are on offer at Sasa. Elsewhere, you’ll find poolside haunts, laid-back barbecues and exclusive lounges.

The bar scene is just as varied, with 15 watering holes dotted throughout the resort – from poolside terrace bars to classic cigar lounges and vibrant cocktail lounges. The best spot for sunsets is the tenth-floor Space Bar Terraza, with its modern peacock-blue egg-cup seats and beautiful sea views, while the toes-in-the-sand Sunrise Bar is perfect for beach drinks. Younger travellers will love the Frágola ice-cream parlour.
