Breakfast and dinner are served daily at the buffet restaurant La Veranda, with a focus on international dishes and show cooking. For a more formal lunch or dinner there's the luxury restaurant Comedor de Aguiar, one of the most popular and renowned restaurants in the city. Both locally-inspired and international cuisine is on offer here. At the creole restaurant La Barraca you can enjoy a host of local dishes that are cooked over charcoal and served in clay pots. Alternative venues for a light lunch include the cafeteria Film Corner and the poolside bar. There are four bars throughout this iconic hotel where you can sip cocktails where the a-list frequented in the city's hey day. These include the Bay View Bar, also known as the Hall of Fame Bar, where the walls are lined with pictures of those famous faces who have graced the hallowed halls of the Nacional. The Gallery Bar, the Rosa Náutica and the Churchill Bar complete the drinking venues.
