Found the hotel an amazing place to stay. Everything was very clean & well maintained. The staff were very helpful, particularly Birol the food and beverage manager and Carlo the pool barman who couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was catered for in every way. The bed was extremely comfortable & the best sleep I have had for a long time. The only tiny negative was that being half board the meals were a little repetitive for 7 nights & we asked for a sea view which we got but there is a half built building with grafitee all over it which somewhat spoils it
All good things have been said before. Just a perfect Hotel :-)
All good things have been said before. Just the best in Split and always like to come to the Radissson in Split :-) . Location rooms bar pool beach beachbar lounge everything just perfect. This resort is the best in Split close to everything and good privat parking options when you come with your car.
Great relaxing break.
Wonderful relaxing week in Split. Stayed at the Radisson as I have many of their hotels around the world. You know what you are going to get and this hotel certainly delivered. We stayed in a suite. Ok, part of the view was a derelict hotel however, ignore than and you have the pristine sea. We did know about the derelict hotel. Hotel facilities first class, everyone wearing masks in public, plenty of hand sanitiser.. 2 great pools however, we spent most of our time at the beach club. This is a man made deck area on the lovely ocean. Safe steps to get into the sea. Always plenty of sun beds, basically, we could relax anywhere. Snacks and of course, bar service available. Food portions are large. Do not over order. If you are adventurous, fairly simple walk into the heart of split. Took us about 40 minutes. If you book this hotel, you will be aware that it is not in downtime Split. Uber is available though not always readily available from the hotel. Uber is a fraction of the price of regulation taxis. I did find the price of food and drink in Split to be expensive. Hope they are not being greedy as we will all simply move our vacations to the UAE out of main season. Overall could not fault the hotel. Spa wonderful. Breakfast, great, if you do not see an item, ask. We ate at night a couple of times from the BBQ. Would stay again if in Solit.
Overpriced. Bad maintained. Very good service.
We chose this hotel as one of the first stops of our honeymoon. Commentaries were positives and with a price of 350€ per night your expectations are high enough. We booked a direct sea view room. Upon arrival, they gave us a room with direct view….to a half constructed building. I had to go down, show a picture, and after 15 minutes they agreed to change us to a room with the specs we paid for. Regardless this situation, the people at the front desk were always nice and helpful. The pool is beautiful, but doesn’t have many chairs, maybe because of covid, but i doubt it. We had lunch at the pool restaurant. Food was not bad but nothing special. The hotel beach area is not actually “private”. Is a beach club that everybody can pay to use. Normally was quite crowded after noon, but if you go after breakfast you will secure a sun-bed for sure. At least in September. Im not sure for that during high season. Again, not that big and is not just for people from the hotel. It is nice and with a big stairs to jump to the water. Service again was really good, and food was not bad. To get to the beach, you have to go through the back exit of the hotel, walk a little bit and then you get to a public park with stairs that get you down to the beach. Its like a 2 min walk down some stairs. For us was not a problem, but maybe for older people is good to know that is not like you press “beach” on the elevator and you get there. Breakfast was above my expectations. Fresh made crepes, waffles and omelets. It was really good! Definitely the worst of the hotel are the rooms. Well, unless you really love the color sky blue. Carpets, walls and bathroom are completely sky blue. Carpets in room and hallways. When we decided to go, we thought that if they choose to keep that color, they would definitely care to have a great maintenance of it. Well, the don’t. Carpets in the room and hallway had a lot of stains (OF COURSE, ITS A SKY BLUE CARPET), and the bathroom.. looks like the one of a horror movie from the 90’s. Housekeeping service was good. The room was well prepares everyday. So the problem is not from them. Room decor is not just ugly (again, totally subjective opinion), but is also really bad quality. Some of the furniture was a white plastic figures (bed tables). Its just our opinion, but even though the service was good, we would never pay what we paid for this hotel again. But if you don’t care about the room, is not a bad option for split.
We have just checked out after a wonderful week at the Radisson Split. The hotel provided an excellent week of relaxation and plenty sunshine. Bedroom had a side sea view which was unexpected but lovely to wake up to each morning. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. We spent every day at the Mistral Beach Club, amazing! Special shout out to Ivan and Farhad for their outstanding customer service. We loved the cabana looking on to the crystal clear waters! Drinks and food both excellent there too - especially the chefs special pizza. This is a well run hotel with staff who go out of their way to please their guests. Already planning a return trip in 2022!
