This nautical waterfront hotel has stunning sea views from its quiet location close to Dubrovnik’s Old Town.
On the outskirts of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, the sea views you get at this cliffside hotel are captivating. Hotel More is the best of its kind – it has the stunning ocean vistas that Dubrovnik’s larger hotels have, but with the boutique feel with just 77 rooms. And best of all, guests can descend down the cliffside by some steps and slip into the warm Mediterranean Sea straight from the hotel’s waterfront terrace.
Thanks to its location away from the crowds, you could be exploring the old medieval streets or scaling Mount Srđ in a cable car – and be back by the quiet hotel pool in a 10-minute taxi ride. The hotel has two small pools to lay your towel by, although the place to be is by the hotel’s waterfront platform where you’re just steps from a liberating ocean swim. From the platform you can access the hotel’s signature bar, a novelty hidden inside a natural cave. Found when the hotel was first built, the Cave Bar is the go-to spot for a drink in the shade by the ambient spotlights. Both of the hotel’s restaurants have a covered terrace with a glass balustrade for peaceful seaside meals. Savour Mediterranean flavours or try Dalmatian cuisine, and start the day with made-to-order pancakes and a make-your-own mimosa with the sparkling wine served at breakfast.
The hotel has a polished nautical style of dark wood and light marble in its public spaces and rooms. Some Classic Rooms have partial sea views; we recommend upgrading to a Double Sea View Balcony Room for a front seat to the vivid sea blues. Or soak in your own outdoor Jacuzzi in a Deluxe Suite Terrace with Jacuzzi Sea View, which also comes with a separate living space for relaxing.
On the quieter Lapad peninsula, 15 minutes’ drive from Dubrovnik Old Town
