Good value for money. Definitely worth a visit
A very good family hotel. Good, clean and modern accommodation, with good facilities. A very good pool area. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The only downside is the evening buffet meal in the restaurant. Good taste and quality but unfortunately always served cold. If you’re happy to ask the staff to microwave your plate of food, which they’re happy to do, then the food is good.
Its okay, for sleeping
Its okay for a weekend if you are not spending too much time at the hotel. Its a true maze, lots of tiny elevators, and the rooms are okay but not more than that. Be prepared to be showering bent over if you are taller than a child. The balcony offers a nice view though
Time for renew
Fantastic location, the best in Hvar. I was in this hotel in 2009 and was fascinated and in 2021. Everything same. Not normal and value for money. Pool area is still same, but fantactic. There is no improvement in rooms. Not coffee mascine in the room, not free bottle of water. Elevators are small. There is no bel boys to help. Food is very good. In the bathroom we didnt have hair dryer.
A good place convenient to Hvar town
A very nice location with a short walk to town and really good food. The pool and beach are good and easy access. The people at the hotel are very friendly. We had a good view of the water and lightning storm. However we would of course liked a full window view vs. a split view
Great place to stay if you are looking for an incredible pool!
We had an enjoyable stay at the Amfora. The front desk staff was helpful, the lobby is modern and well appointed, and the pool area is just gorgeous! It is spacious, there is a swim up bar, a slide and you can order food/drinks from your chair. The breakfast is a full buffet with a ton of options, including made to order omelettes. The hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from the port, and along the waterfront path so it's a lovely and quick walk. We purchased an upgraded room with a balcony and sea view which was nice, but the room was definitely a bit dated and quite small. If you don't think you'll be spending much time at the pool during your time on the island, I wouldn't recommend paying the upgraded price to stay at this large hotel, but rather book for a cheaper price at a small property with less amenities (we wish we'd done that because there was so much fun to be had in Hvar, we hardly found time for the pool!). However, if you envision your trip to Hvar as relaxation at a pool, this is your place!
