Slice of heaven
Kura is everything you would want in a hotel. From the moment you walk in and are greeted with cool towels and a smile to your departure, complete with a parting gift, Kura is a five star experience. This small boutique hotel could give tutorials in guest service- everyone on staff is equipped with a smile and an offer to help. The main area is absolutely stunning; sunsets are especially breathtaking. The drinks at the pool are delicious and refreshing. The individual suites are well equipped, the design modern and the beds comfortable. We loved the shower with its overlook of the whales tail. Kura is up a long, bumpy and steep hill that requires a 4x4 to access. We loved the feeling of being immersed in nature and the views that brought, but just know before you go that this beauty of a hotel does not provide easy access to the town of Uvita. We made the effort to go out each day and thought it was well worth the trip down the mountain to get a better sense of this area of Costa Rica.
Top of the world’s small resorts highly recommend to try. In the middle of a quiet and unspoiled nature
Exceptional site, views, rooms, service, food. Located at 400 m altitude, out of the mass tourist Ballena village, fantastic design villas, a high class quality and service. Bravo to the owners and keep on the quality !

Just a fabulous spot and fabulous people. Manuel, Douglas and Sergio are just great. This is heaven on earth. The only negative were the howler monkeys waking me up from my nap. The first morning a pair of toucans were on a tree just below our room. It is all fantastic.
An Amazing Experience from Start to Finish
If you stay at this boutique hotel, be prepared to be awed. The view, the amenities, the rooms, and most importantly, the staff, are all out of this world. Manuel, Ismael, and the rest of the crew are top-notch. If you can afford this luxury, it is well worth the price!
Everything I hoped it to be! The service was perfect from airport pick up to lovely wet towels when you returned from a trip. The views, decor everything was great. The food was wonderful and particularly good wines. We stayed 4 nights and they organised two excursions for us, there are lots to chose from but given how lovely the hotel is, it is worth staying onsite to make most of it. Complimentary laundry service was a nice touch.
