Get away from elders
Was a little surreal being one of like 10 guests in a hotel like the RY typical Toronto day there's dozens of ppl just walking through or sightseeing in here. Not. Right. Now. Service regardless of causal was incredible. Highest level of customer service. Thanks PS I didn't get the name of the doorman but he is an awesome guy!
Stayed for Four Nights
They were very gracious to open up their hotel to us health care professionals! Such an exquisite hotel! My fiancé and I have been to Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac, Hotel Fairmont Chateau Laurier, and Fairmont Tremblant and the Royal York just lives up to the name. Thank you so much!
Exceptional Stay During Exceptional Circumstances
Our recent stay at the Fairmont Royal York was a tribute to the company’s commitment to manage a difficult situation and the staff’s meaningful efforts to make guests feel welcome and safe. The service was exceptional. I thank the staff for their courtesy, caring and for going the extra mile during this difficult period to make our stay safe and special. I want to recognize Ian the Doorman, Hy and Sophia from Royal Service who checked in regularly with me and my travel companion to ensure that our stay was wonderful. It was. We also salute you and the Fairmont chain for supporting front line healthcare workers and providing them a safe place to stay. This is more than admirable. We are also grateful for your hospitality and will stay again and will tell colleagues, friends and family about the quality of the service, commitment to health and safety and most of all the personal warmth. Thank you.
Covid19 first responder
I stayed here in the first week of June. My stay was fabulous. As a first responder, it was a great opportunity to isolate from immunocompromised family members. The rooms were small but very clean. The service was exceptional except for the young female front desk worker on the evening of May 30th. My card was deactivated earlier in the day as I had thought I lost it and then requested a new card. In any case, she made me feel somewhat criminal for losing one of my card keys. When I said thank you for making me a new card, she seemed annoyed and didn't say you're welcome. Regardless, I am still giving a 5 star rating because everyone else was very kind and welcoming. Would recommend.
5 Star Customer Service
First of I’d like to say a big THANK YOU to Fairmont for housing us healthcare workers during these times. It’s helpful to be near work while also keeping our families safe. This is my second time staying at Fairmont for the past two months. The first visit, I was placed into an older room with a bathroom that’s not quite clean/renovated. I raised this up at the front desk and the next day I was placed into a renovated room with a stand up shower. I was very happy with the room switch! Customer service was quick and room was very clean. It’s nice to be able to rest quietly after a long shift. The second time, I also requested for a similar room and they did not let me down. I had a renovated room again. Front desk was easy to contact as you can directly text message them. From check in to check out, the service is smooth. I also requested for a fridge and microwave and they too delivered it in my room. I can’t say anything more but hassle-free customer service, clean rooms and bathrooms, soft sheets, and great entertainment system (chrome cast!!). They make sure your stay is relaxing and comfortable. Definitely recommending friends and family for future stay!
