Surprise get away from husband.
Great stay in a beautiful room with a view. Wonderful getaway close to many things, including the sea wall, which we took in while there. Many great places to get breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a beautiful pool, but sadly we forgot our swim suits. Next time we will remember ;)
Disappointed, expected more
I am a Vancouverite and wanted a one-night get away by myself to celebrate my bday. This hotel needs a severe renovation and looks dated. Upon entering the lobby from the parkade, I was immediately hit with lots of gold tone hues (made me think 80's). From the parkade you need to take an elevator to get to the lobby. Then once you check-in you then take a different set of elevators to get to your room -- really inconvenient. I am appreciative to be upgraded to a harbour-view suite but the suite needs more attention. There is a coffee maker in the room but no coffee packets or cups -- so I guess it's decorative? One of the light bulbs in one of my lamps didn't work and the room is very dark even with all lights on. To get to the fitness room, you have to go down to the lobby floor and then take another set of elevators to go to the cruise ship level where the gym is and go through the parkade. Very limited channels on the t.v. and I found their wifi is insecure and slow. It was nice quick getaway but I doubt that I will come back.
Wonderful and clean hotel. Everyone was wearing masks and there was hand sanitizer everywhere. Our room was very spacious for a family of 4. The heated outdoor pool was fantastic and not busy. Check in was a breeze and so was check out. Conceirge was helpful with directions and they were very welcoming upon entry and exit. A great view from our room at night, just beautiful!
not the luxury I was expecting for a romantic get away
not happy with my choice of hotel for my husbands 65th! could have got a higher class of hotel for a better experience elsewhere. The only great thing was the view, so at least we relaxed a bit. I know covid has effected places everywhere however we had been away to a different place a couple of months ago and had received room service where they left the tray outside the room. I think this could have been possible at the Pan Pacific however it was not available which did not help our stay at all
Not Worth the Price
There are superior hotels to this one in the area. The customer service was lacking. The concierge service was virtually useless. The restaurant food was very good, especially the breakfast. The room was clean, but nothing extraordinary. Disappointing stay.
