Disappointed with upkeep
Fabulous views, setting and location. Pretty hard to beat. But was disappointed with the upkeep of the room. Booked a premium harbour view room to celebrate our anniversary. To much dismay I found washroom ventilation full of dust, burnt lamp shade, tapes on wall, weighing scale not working. Certainly things that you don't expect of a premium room (350 a night) of a premium hotel. If not for the breathtaking views, would have been difficult to stay. Due to COVID already there is no room service, which is understandable but then such sloppy maintenance is unacceptable.
The Best Hotel Property In Canada
On our return from Whistler we decided to stay in a different hotel. I had stayed in many of the top hotels in Canada and I think this is the best hotel property in Canada. The setting is beautiful. In the water, overlooking the Burrard inlet, Snow covered North shore mountains, Stanley park, Lionsgate bridge. I mean no other hotel can boast of such a view. Vancouver is spectacular and this hotel is too. The service was friendly. clean comfortable rooms, Walking distance to city activities and dining. Covid protocols well kept. Front desk, concierge, housekeeping, belldesk all staff were very he;pful. This is a must stay place in Vancouver. And when you are here dont forget to walk out to the terrace from the lobby and enjoy the view.
Definitely a 5 star service!
We had a wonderful stay. From early check in to late check out. They upgraded our room and gave us breath taking view of the sea and mountainside, a perfect night to celebrate our anniversary. The staff are very accommodating.
Beautiful place, but over priced and subpar service
This hotel was like a whole city! It is lovely, but it is very rowdy so if you're looking for a quiet place to stay, look elsewhere. The views from the room are stunning. However, it definitely wasn't worth the price. Service was ok, but there is definitely room for improvement. I won't be back.
I was really disappointed with our recent stay at Pan Pacific Vancouver. We had selected a package that allowed us a credit of $50 per night to eat at their many restaurants. Upon check in we were notified that a limited number of restaurants were available for service and no suitable menu options for a young child were available. Disappointingly, we ate at beautiful meal at the five sails restaurant to be told at check out that this restaurant does not qualify for the $50 food credit. When I questioned this, I was given no other option but to settle the bill. As I went to settle the bill with cash, I was told that they are not accepting cash due to Covid. I completely understand that, however the porter was very happy to receive a cash tip upon leaving. Double standards.
