Beautiful experience !
Celebrated my husband's 69th birthday and was upgraded to a harbourside room with beautiful snowy view of Coal Harbour. Luxurious rooms and robes. Great experience !The snow changed our plans a bit and we stayed in our rooms more than originally planned to get warmed up after outdoor walks but very enjoyable and cozy.
Vancouver - You did not disappoint
We slashed out on staying at Pan Pacific because of the view. We were on the 18th floor in one of their deluxe rooms at the end of the row so we had 2 large windows to look at the amazing view of the harbour and the mountains. Did not need to close curtains at night so woke up to the stunning sunrise . This was in December so no cruise ships, this may be different if it is cruise season as the ships dock along the quay from the hotel
Convenient, quiet, and clean
Wonderful hotel. Very clean, great location, nice views (even when facing the city). Love that they have a kettle in the room for us tea drinkers (nothing is worse than trying to get fresh hot water from a coffee maker). Shows that they thought of everything. Great location - easy walk to downtown, shopping and gas town.
Great atmosphere, views, and rooms
Ambiance of entire building inside and out was wonderful. Great customer service at reception and breathtaking views from all over the hotel! The floor mats of the day in the elevators was a lovely touch and great attention to detail.
So 2 parts to this. Firstly the amount of times I asked about NYE and events etc to book at a rate I am sure was still a premium due to NYE, and also a dinner for NYE, to realise when we arrived that the 20 000 people top 10 in the world event was totally cancelled was well quite frustrating. If they would of told us then of course they would of lost their booking and we would of went to whistler but hey they definitely got our money. Why they wouldn't tell us was well damn embarrassing. We then spent over $600 plus on a NYE dinner that seem to come from the 70's...the music was old, the people seemed all of a demographic and the buffet seemed so disorganized. After all that wasted expense, the second part. The actual rooms. Seaplanes take of at 8, so don't plan a sleep in and the walls seemed very thin for a 5 star place, the guy next doors snoring kept me awake, but luckily he wasn't there the whole time. I'd say 4 star at best and I for example, Singapore Pan Pacific to be about 3 times better. There was also confusion with wifi and water that we gave up on...but oh well.
