Sonora Resort Adventure is a wilderness and wildlife experience that can easily be added to a tailor-made Canada itinerary, whether it's an independent journey, self-drive or rail journey. It can even be added to the end of an escorted tour.
On your first day you will arrive at Sonora and then have the rest of the day to explore this amazing waterfront resort which has incredible views of the Inside Passage.
During your full day at the resort, a one-hour Zodiac eco tour is included. The tour is accompanied by a local guide who will provide an informative commentary, and hopefully you will be able to spot some of the local wildlife such as Stellar sea lions, porpoises and dolphins in their natural habitats.
For the rest of your time at Sorona you can make the most of the fine facilities and activities on offer which include tennis, hiking, kayaking and swimming. There are also a handful of additional activities that are available to book for a supplement, including guided grizzly bear-watching tours and salmon fishing. If you’re seeking a more relaxing pastime, the resort also features a full service spa, movie theatre and indoor golf simulator.
On your final morning at Sonora you can explore a little further independently, enjoy a spot of fly-fishing or try out some watersports before your departure.
