Head up to the peak of Sulphur Mountain on the Banff Gondola for panoramic views of Banff and the surrounding Rocky Mountain landscapes. From the lift station you can follow a number of hiking trails or treat yourself to a meal at one of the two mountain-top restaurants.
Depart from your hotel in Banff and visit a grizzly bear refuge where you can watch the bears as they play in this natural habitat. Stop to soak in the views over Lake Louise before visiting Yoho National Park where you‘ll watch trains disappear into the Spiral Tunnels and visit Takakkaw Falls, Canada’s second highest waterfall. At Kicking Horse Mountain, take a gondola ride to the top of the Purcell Mountains, where you’ll have lunch at Canada’s highest restaurant.
Covering a huge expanse and reaching depths of up to 320m, the Columbia Icefield forms one of the largest masses of ice south of the Arctic Circle. Depart from Banff and travel northwards along the scenic Icefields Parkway. Enjoy a number of photo stops such as Crowfoot Glacier along the way before reaching the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre. From here you'll head out on to the Athabasca Glacier in a Ice Explorer snow coach. Continue on to the cliff-edge walkway - The Glacier Skywalk - and enjoy the views over the Sunwapta Canyon. Following your parkway sightseeing you'll return to Banff.

Depart from Canmore (approx. 20 minutes from Banff) and embark on an awe-inspiring 30-minute helicopter ride to view the dramatic peak of Mount Assiniboine from a unique perspective. Soaring 3610 metres above Lake Magog, which sits on the border between British Columbia and Alberta, Assiniboine is known as the ‘Matterhorn of North America’. Taking the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain is the most popular way to get a bird’s view of Banff and the Bow River Valley. To escape the crowds, take the open-air Mt Norquay Sightseeing Chairlift up to the Cliffhouse Bistro which sits at 2085 metres above sea level.
