Great Location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff
We stayed for three nights and found the resort enjoyable. The highlights are its location on the lake (the canoeing was great), beautiful views, comfortable rooms, and good breakfasts. The wifi leaves a lot to be desired. We gave up even trying to connect to it after multiple tries.
Great Cabin feel Hotel but too pricey
I don’t feel the price matched the hotel, we paid the same price for a night at the fairmont. However the rooms were good, beds comfy, coffee machine, balcony, on the lake which was beautiful views but also 5-10 mins from the town so a good location.
Perfect weekend getaway!
WOW! This place is absolutely stunning! The mountains and lake are incredible and offers not only a beautiful view but activities throughout the day like canoeing, kayaking, walks, and nature bike trails! Not to mention super friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, lots of parking and a nice restaurant! 11/10 highly recommend staying here on your visit to Jasper!
Don't be Fooled by the photos of modern decor, NOT worth the money!
We booked this hotel based on a previous stay here and on the location to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We were extremely disappointed with our choice. We travel to Jasper about 8-10 times a year and have stayed at many hotels, and this was the worst. The price is very high, and the experience and service we received did not reflect the price. The bed(Queen sized) was horrible, it had a huge dip in the middle so your head and feet were up but your middle was lower and we were rolling into each other. When we arrived late at night the man who checked us in was not very pleasant, we had added a notation to our reservation and he did not even read it. Going to the room you have to drive uphill on a narrow road, that has so many potholes and bumps we thought our full-sized SUV which is off-road equipped was going to bottom outgoing about 4kms and hour. The pull tab to close the sink drain was not actually connected to the drain, so we had to reach under the sink to close the drain, The small leather loveseats are horribly uncomfortable. there was no second or extra roll of toilet paper in the room. For the $300+ a night fee, I expect a nice mattress, and better customer service and well maintained or checked facilities.
Resort was in a quiet, quaint location just outside of Jasper; nestled in the woods near hiking & biking trails. Our room had great views of Pyramid Lake. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Room was functional but a bit tight for family of 4 (2 adults 2 teens). We were happy to have access to a kitchen which gave us an option to eat in during the period of evolving COVID19 restrictions. The hotel restaurant did do take-out (they were super fast) and the meal was delicious! We enjoyed kayaking on the lake with convenient rental from the hotel. Wifi really needs to be improved (couldn't order online from restaurants in Jasper).
