All I can say is awesome. I was a little sceptical at first because this hotel was listed as best value which to me has lots of variety. Let me say in my opinion this hotel is top notch. The price to me was outstanding for what I got. The location was ideal within walking distance to everything. Modern and yet super comfortable. We had a top floor suite. It was roomy and had everything we could have wanted. The fireplace after a long day of walking was nice. Huge walk in shower with rain head option. Lots of storage and coat hooks which helped when we were wearing lots of layers out walking. The amenities are all easy to access and great to use including the outside hot pools( large pools) with fire pit. Lobby staff were super nice and helpful. This was our first trip west and if we go back I would stay at the moose in a heartbeat.
Comfy and cozy room in a great location
We stayed at that hotel in mid October and it was our first time in Banff. Very easy and efficient check-in. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a king size bed suite. It was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The room had a microwave, small fridge, a Keurig coffee machine and a cozy electric fireplace. We also enjoyed using the 2 hot tubs and sauna on the roof top with scenic views of the mountains around us. The wifi was efficient and the free underground parkade was spacious. The attached restaurant Pacini serves an excellent breakfast. We were also pleased with the location of the hotel on Banff Main street, easily walkable to shops and restaurants. The check out was as easy and convenient as the check in. We would definitely stay here again.
Loved the location of this hotel as you can walk almost everywhere. Great dealing with Covid. My only complaint was that our one bedroom suite looked right into the the entrance/exit of the 3 floor. So everyone using this area could see into our room. We had to keep the blinds closed at all times. Would have been nice to have them open. The hotel was not very full as we could tell walking by empty rooms. It would have been nice to have been given a little bit better location of room.
Perfect location & ambience. We had a one bedroom suite including fireplace and seating area. The fireplace was such a nice touch (especially when it snowed earlier than expected), we would have loved to been able to use the balcony as well had the weather allowed. The room has everything you need and it was very clean. The rooftop hot pool was a great touch and beautiful views of the mountains. We would definitely stay here on our next trip to Banff.
A Friend's 40th Birthday Celebration
There was 13 of us of so we booked 3 separate rooms. It's a very nice hotel. We had brunch in the Pacini restaurant in the hotel and it was very good. Service was not good though, our server disappeared for the longest time. I ordered a smoothie, the Meat Cassolette $16 (Sautéed bacon, sausages, ham, green onion and potatoes with scrambled eggs and alfredo sauce, au gratin and I ordered a side of hollandaise to pour over top and a side of bacon. Yummy!
