This boutique hotel is in the heart of the picturesque Serra do Mar National Park.

Superbly isolated in the heart of Serra do Mar National Park, this charming boutique hotel is shrouded by forests and overlooks the ocean and an idyllic stretch of peaceful beach. Intimate, welcoming and in perfect harmony with the environment, it offers guests an exclusive getaway and a chance to sample the authentic taste, lifestyle and culture of this magical area of Brazil. Make the most of the picturesque natural setting with a range of activities such as forest hikes, bird watching, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and surfing.

Eating is very much part of the Picinguaba experience. The restaurant serves simple, local cuisine, using the region’s produce to great effect, with local coffee, freshly caught seafood and organic vegetables featuring alongside a wide range of excellent South American wines. The small size means menus can be tailored to suit your requirements. The beautiful pool and terrace overlook the bay below, relaxing hammocks dotted around the lush gardens, and a pool bar offering exotic cocktails complete the perfect picture of a tranquil escape.

The 9 rooms and one honeymoon suite accommodate just 24 guests. The rooms emphasise simple, natural comfort and open out into a vast tropical garden with the sea as backdrop. Each room has a private balcony and hammock; but there is no television or internet to distract you from the stunning natural abundance that blooms just steps away.
