Honeymoon in Paradise
This is a late review, we stayed here as part of our honeymoon in December 2018. The 3 hour journey from Rio is well worth it. Upon arrival, we were surprised to see a woman crying in reception, however, we discovered she was crying because she was leaving! This hotel is relaxation and classy bohemian beach vibe personified. Our room was airy and bright, with a balcony overlooking the sea and promenade. Coffees and snacks were provided in the room. Breakfast was plentiful and full of variety. During our stay the kitchen was out of action for a couple of hours one afternoon, so the hotel invited the guests to go on a boat trip with drinks and packed lunch included. It was the highlight of our stay in Buzios! Juan in the bar was so friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed massages one day in the spa and these were professional and thoroughly relaxing. We dream of this hotel and Buzios, and hope to return soon!
My partner and i spent 5 nights at the Casas Brancas and it was truly amazing. The hotel is really beautiful, as you would expect from a boutique hotel it is small and the decor is gorgeous. Lots of lovely wooden pieces and books. The room was spacious and very clean. We had breakfast included and it was up there with the best hotel breakfast we have every had. Massive choice and all very healthy. Spoilt for choice !! Pool loungers very comfortable and pool staff very friendly. We used the Spa and had a few treatments which where fantastic and reasonably priced. Cannot recommend enough if u visit Buzios this is the place to stay.
Top three out of all boutique hotels we have been. This is a gem. Relaxing and subtle luxury with great service and energy. Could not be happier with this hotel. From location to rooms, everything was superb.
Best hospital experience ever imagined!
The hotel Casas Brancas was just the paradise of a vacation that we needed. Upon our initial entry to the pool deck with a breathtaking view, we were already blown away. The hotel is rustic, modern, Mediterranean, and a mix of styles that still felt cozy all at the same time. The location itself is very central to everything - beaches, downtown, shops, and restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere along the peninsula. We felt like we were a part of the family- Louisa, Gabriel, Julianna, and everyone else we encountered were more than helpful and provided us with everything we needed + The breakfast brunch alone is worth the trek. We still dream about the breakfast! The variety and number of healthy options are perfect for a day sunbathing. We are already discussing our next visit back to Buzios, specifically to Casas Brancas!! Thanks again guys for welcoming us!
Lovely hotel, great location
We spent 5 days here at the end of a long touring holiday in South America. It was a great place to relax and regain some energy after all our exertions. The building is beautiful and we were delighted to be upgraded to a huge suite. We had a big bedroom, a big sitting area, a big bathroom with free standing bath and a balcony overlooking the sea. We did have two concerns. The bed was not very comfortable compared to other hotels we have stayed in. It was a bit small given the size of the suite and also the pillows were hard. Also, the shower door did not close properly, which enabled water to escape. The staff were truly lovely. Wherever we were in the hotel everyone was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was great - a lovely buffet and some nice choices on the a la carte menu. I think I had the best mango I have ever had in my life. One of the days we were there it rained all day and we spent a couple of hours in the spa having a massage and enjoying the jacuzzi. All in all in was a brilliant stay.
