I was treated to this holiday by my friend. We spent a week at this hotel at the beginning of October. I can only say it was amazing. Friendly helpful staff, clean rooms and gorgeous food. Will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone.
This recently renovated Property looks Great!
We traveled the first week of October - after the Property had been closed for 2 months for renovations. Well worth it - as this place is fantastic and looks better than ever. The Staff is just great - especially Adam - part of the Activities Team. He made exercising fun!!! There are many activities to choose from - I especially liked the Morning Walks off-property and the complimentary boat rides up the coast. The Air Conditioned Fitness Center has all new equipment and never crowded. The General Manager was always walking around talking to the guests also. We all loved the addition of the new Coffee Bar and the Rum Tasting. Will definitely go back.
Exceptional Ocean View
The wonderful ocean view and spacious loft room made up for the flaws at the resort which include too many additional costs & restrictions for an adult all inclusive hotel. Starting at check in with $350 held against the room!! & $99 for 7 days in Room WiFi, these are excessive for an all inclusive hotel. Also breakfast is only served until 10am! And The room service is discouraged with a time limited & sparse menu. The staff are friendly & helpful.
We visited the week of the 14th . The food OMG they put love into whatever they are feeding you . Don’t read into anything about the beach as well as the excursions offered on the resort they are available as long as you request it . There’s Waitresses are GOD SENT they continuously cared and not only did we see it but we felt it . We are usually very picky and we honestly feel uncomfortable requesting things when we go on vacation most times because of the service HERE is HOME . If i ever returned to Barbados i would specifically return to the club to show my appreciation !! The rain didn’t matter what mattered was the time we were able to spend together and the rest we were able to get they also have wild monkeys around back with full families lol to see this was the cutest thing ever . If anyone from the resort sees this please let them know the Thomason family says THANK YOU for everything ❤️
Mmmmmm not quite
This may not be typical of this resort and given that they did try very hard to make our stay an enjoyable one we would have to give them four out of ten for effort. It all started with a very protracted check-in of almost two hours. Apparently our room wasn't ready, but NOBODY told us, we were kept waiting in the reception area and when when we were finally escorted to our room, It still wasn't ready. We walked into the room and the maintenance guys were still struggling to put up the curtains / black-out curtains : and the cleaners were still cleaning the room. Additionally some of the electric switches / sockets were not working. We couldn't leave the room because we had no key-cards to operate the door locks. We were then offered a bottle of champagne for our troubles....We could have gone to the bar and ordered one for ourselves but we couldn't lock the door or get back into our room for that matter. The restaurant was under-staffed with the Head of Catering having to bail out his staff due the lack of numbers. That said the sports facility staff were brilliant and very helpful, - A credit to the resort. We found out that the hotel had recently been taken over by new owners........ if this was the standard the new owners were trying to implement, then don't bother. Shame it has all the potential....
