A brand new, luxury boutique hotel on Barbados’s south coast with a cool rooftop bar with views of Oistins Bay.

The fresh and contemporary O2 Beach Club & Spa is fronted by a sweeping, palm-lined beach with talcum soft sands and an exclusive feeling. The name gives a clue to the vibe here: it’s a cool and contemporary beach club with glistening pools (there’s one for everyone and a couple that are for adults only) and casual bars and eateries only a few steps away from your memory-foam sunbed. The resort’s spa is set to open in October 2021 and will offer a wide range of muscle-melting treatments. You can even gain a few new skills when you are on holiday thanks to the range of hands-on ‘How to’ experiences that range from steel pan playing and rum punch making to Hobie Cat sailing. If you upgrade to the Concierge Collection, you’ll receive one of these experiences free during your stay.

Elements is the resort’s main restaurant where a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. In the evening, there’s also the opportunity to enjoy à la carte dishes. An alternative casual option and both lunch and dinner is the open-air Blue Fin Beachside Grill where the dishes come with a side of sea views. For an evening of fine dining, head to Oro which also also comes complete with exceptional views of the Caribbean. On Saturday, the beach becomes a lively dining spot as guests enjoy Bajan specialities with their toes in the sand. Possibly the most spectacular venue at the resort is the Brisa on the Sky Terrace, a bistro where you can snack on small plates and take in views of the famous Oistins Bay.

Each of the rooms and suites is modern in style with splashes of colour and a covered private balcony or terrace. The Club Rooms have a king-size bed and island views, however we highly recommend upgrading to either the Luxury Collection Suites or the Concierge Collection Suites. Alongside the all-inclusive package, you’ll get extra benefits such credit to use at the spa, speciality concierge service and access to Sea Breeze Beach House. Golfers will also love these suites; one round per person is included for stays of five nights or more from November to April and unlimited rounds are included from May to October. The Luxury Oceanfront Junior Suites and Concierge Two Bedroom Bay View Suites are just a couple of the options – the latter being great for groups or families.
