PHILLIP ISLAND Home to Australia’s famous Little Penguins, Phillip Island is best known for its spectacular sunset experience of the ‘Penguin Parade’. Every evening, visitors can watch hundreds of Little Penguins returning ashore after a long day at sea. It is a magical experience to watch the penguins waddle up the beach to the safety of their sand dune burrows.
THE TWELVE APOSTLES Travel along the Great Ocean Road to the pretty seaside village of Port Campbell. From here, it is only a short distance to the Twelve Apostles, the huge limestone rock formations carved over time by the Southern Ocean waves. One of the most spectacular natural landmarks in Australia, this an incredible sight not to be missed.
GRAMPIANS NATIONAL PARK This beautiful 167,000-hectare national park is home to hundreds of species of native wildlife. A scenic drive will take you to Halls Gap, the township at the heart of the park. Fantastic woodland walks and impressive rock formations offer some of the best bush walking and rock climbing in Australia. Special highlights include McKenzie Falls and the Balconies.
KANGAROO ISLAND A large island off the Southern Australian coast, Kangaroo Island shows nature at its wildest and most majestic. There is a never-ending list of things to see and do, but we recommend visiting the natural wonder of Admirals Arch, and exploring the fantastic wildlife at Seals Bay.
